Perspective. War is the health of the state.
If a slain Muslim war hero had expressed the same views about other religions as Chris Kyle did, a profile of him would have called him an Islamist.

A really well spent 12 minutes of your life. Some students at Wisconsin know more about liberty than 99% of the assholes that will mention it tomorrow.

This is a cheap hotel. First time in Reno and I'm not really sure what else this city has to offer as far as options but it's hard for me to believe there isn't something better out there. Booking reservation: First thing that happened during the reservation process is the individual I was on the phone with booked my rooms on the wrong days. Normally I would chalk this up to an anomaly and simple lack of attention to detail but with everything that followed it led me to believe this is systemic. Checking in: Receptionist checked me into another persons room with the same last name but wildly different first names. She also called me by the wrong first name 3 times after handling my I.D. and credit card. Each time I told the receptionist my name but it wasn't working. We asked for a map of the hotel after they finally figured out who I was and received a map of the city. Sigh. Room: The room is basic. You can tell that the hotel is old when you walk in which isn't a big deal but you can also tell the mattress is old. They could do wonders by upgrading the interior but it's Reno so they're probably not concerned. The iron is bolted to the ironing board. This is hilarious b/c I've only seen this in shady ass hotels. The fact a casino felt the need to do this tells me everything I need to know about their customer base. This also presents 2 practical problems. First, is you can't use the ironing board as intended. Second, is you can't or won't in Silver Legacy's case probably upgrade the iron. The iron is mid 1980's vintage. It's works about as well as something that's been used for that long as well. Casino: The Walmart of Casino's. Maybe this is a Reno thing and I'm being too harsh but if you're ever been to any other casino on the planet outside of Reno you'll pretty much hate this place. Service: Take in everything I've said above and imagine the motivation of the folks that work in this type of place. That's the service level. TL;DR: Life's too short to stay here. Find a better place.

Barry (owner) and the staff are great. This is the best soccer pub in the DFW area by far.

Great barber shop in the heart of downtown. I just moved here and was looking for a good cut and Stan gave me the best I've had in a long time. He also provided good conversation and wanted to get to know me. I'll definitely be back and if you're looking for a barber shop in Denver I'd definitely recommend giving his place in LoDo or Union Station a try.
