I loved all the white tire smoke when John missed Turn 3.  I loved your laughing Tim.
It was nice to hear the squealing tires as you tossed around the Tesla.

+Dennis Tavoda No, that speed is not good enough for GT2 times, maybe in for T1 configuration.  The car was down to 350 horsepower with the Laguna Seca sub-90dB muffler set-up on the car.

The rain the day before did not do too much for the dust.

That was some scary driving.  Both the Porsche and Corvette drivers are lucky they did not wad up the cars.  The fact that they can run under 1:50 lap times on that track with that kind of driving is testament to the cars and the active handling.

+Spede Racer That instructor was completely clueless. WTF was all that waving crap and 3 point belts w/open faced helmets? Hopefully neither breeds....

Oli I missed you last weekend at BW. We need to go racing soon....

+Dennis Tavoda No, I don't seem to do that.  Teresa always remarks that I don't curse when something breaks, etc. or that I don't scream when I spin, get hit, etc.  When the engine let go my first reaction was denial.  I did not want to pull off the track.  It is a long season during the year to qualify for the Runoffs and then it is a hard week at the track.  To have the engine quit 6.5 laps in was at first disbelief, then I was a composed agitated as the car coasted to a stop.  Then I got more angry when I was watching the GT2 race, the race I wanted the most.  But I slid into acceptance when I got to watch my friend Kyle Kelley become the SCCA National GT1 Champion for 2014 the following day.  Whoo Hoo!!!

Elite Auto Collision Repair Center has done fabulous work for me three times. I guess that is a lot for one customer at one body shop in less than three years. I race a Corvette in a sports car series and occassionally their is body damage. Elite is where I have been taking the car. No matter how smashed up the car is, they always manage to get her all straightened out, the body panels aligned and give me a great looking car. The most important part is the fast turn-around since I usually don't have more than about two weeks between races. The flexibility and personal care aspect is what is tops though. Two weeks ago I brought the car in straight from Auto Club Speedway in Fontana and told Adrian I need a fast turn-around in order to make a double race weekend on Labor day and Adrian has delivered. Thanks Adrian!

I just had my #22 T1 Corvette serviced at 949 Racing. What an awesome job they did. After a little dialing in on the car it was ripping around Buttonwillow Raceway Park #13 CW. The car felt stable, predictable and a pleasure to drive. She made good power and the work done on the drive train and the new Quaife got the power to the ground. All-in-All I went home with the Fast Time of Day at a sold-out event with over 100 cars. Awesome!!
