Wake County, North Carolina is expected to reach 1 Million residents this week. As we approach the 1 Million mark the new resident will most likely be from another area. The biggest source is from other counties in North Carolina, followed by other states, most notably; New York, New Jersey, Ohio and Pennsylvania.  International migration makes up the remainder of the 65%.
