Everything about the gym is good, except for certain things. However that's at every gym! Difference being, people there make it worth while! Certain people from sales are incredible! I.E. Austin goes above in customer service! He does what he can and will work with you. I believe Baby?? is the other guy's name? Anyways he's very personable and will help out with the gym world. Some of the other people too but for the most those are the guy's and this is my basic review of people being great and the gym not being terrible!

The people that work for this gym are a bunch of thieves. We were lied to from the start. I signed up over the phone and specifically asked if there was a yearly charge for the gym. I was told no….February rolled around and $100 was taken out of my account. When I went into the gym and spoke to the larger Hispanic man that works there I was told he could do nothing to help me and I had to talk to Greg. After multiple phone calls to Greg with NO returned phone calls I finally got a hold him. He told me that he could not refund our money, but we could get personal training sessions. Once again Greg would never call me back and no one could help me at the gym because Greg had to approve for the training sessions. I gave up at this point… November rolls around and I am told to come back on 12/01/2015 to cancel my membership. My boyfriend and I go into the gym and cancel our membership. Well sure enough on 12/21/2015 $54.99 was taken out of my bank account. Supposedly they had only canceled my boyfriend’s account, but I was still charged for his monthly rate along with mine. Again with many phone calls to Lisa this time, she tells me not once, but two times over a 20 day period that I will get my money. After not receiving my money for 20 days and being told twice I would get it, Lisa decided to not return any of my phones calls or respond to my emails. Mind you during all of this Greg the manager of the gym told me there was nothing he could do to help me that I had to talk to Lisa. I even told him that she was not returning any of my phone calls and he still wasn’t willing to help. I finally called another gym and they gave me Nicole’s information. She tried telling me I had to wait another 10 days for the money that was stolen from me. She actually helped me and I got my money back. During our year with Tru Fit half the equipment was broken, the bathrooms were nasty, and the sauna was broken more often than not. If you enjoy being lied to, paying for things that are broken, poor customer service, and eventually having your money stolen, then please sign up for this gym! I have never experienced such poor customer service. I am also in shock that you cannot speak to the owners of the gym. I asked Nicole if I could speak to the owner and she told me I couldn’t. I hope the owners get online to read the reviews and will make some major changes within their company.

This place has the best pricing that I could find and about everything I needed. Some of the staff is friendly, However the manager is very dismissive to suggestions and keeping machines in working order(greg). There is not enough carabiners for every machine and you constantly have to steal them from other machines ($10 fix). All of the D handles need lubed they give that high pitched sound during use. Cloth ones are no where to be found either. They put in a giant tv in front of the DB's that plays the same annoying advertisments over and over again. Why the hell are you advertiseing to your members? They are already...members. There is not a single clock with a second hand in the gym. You know that thing that is super helpfull for rest pause, interval and rest periods (maybe $50 to cover the entire gym). The weights, they are everywhere. Want to add 5lbs, it's burried under 3 45lbs plates. Need a 45lbs plate go steal it from the curl machine. Put your employees to work, keep your gym organized, fix your machine, listen to your customers and you could have a awesome gym. just my .02 Other thoughts: Bathrooms only have hand dryer.I end up getting water all over the mirrors trying to fling the excess water over before i use the dam hand dryer. Most of us don't use a locker, it would be nice if the front desk would hold keys.

If you dont plan on doing cardio due to the broke machines and dont mind having multiple YEARLY "enhancement" fees pulled from your account multiple times in the same year then this is the place for you! Staff for the most part is great except the excuse filled arrogant owner. And oh ya they lock you into a year long contact and renew it 6 months in without your knowledge

My wife and I have been going to this gym for five years. The only reason we continue is because of the location. Over that time we have seen it deteriorate dramatically. We used to be able to bring guests on Sundays for free, or any other day of the week for a five dollar charge. This is no longer. Two days after Thanksgiving 2015 my wife and I went to the gym. Because of the lack of management at this facility, a random man off the street walked into the locker room, cut my lock, took my key fob, and stole my wallet. Within 10 minutes he was up at the target on 120th and had spent five grand on our credit cards. The staff told me to not worry about our monthly payment because they knew about the situation. I made an assumption that their management team would do the right thing and waive our fee for a month. I was wrong. We later received $42 in overdraft fees and late charges. I confronted the manager, Greg and he had a laundry list of excuses. He also told me that he would be reimbursing us the overdraft fees and late charges. Our reoccurring monthly bill just went through and we never received a credit. On top of all this the equipment at this facility is showing major signs of wear and tear. I also confronted the manager about this. His response was we were supposed to have all new cardio equipment starting the first of the year. Since then nothing has changed. I typically don't write negative reviews, however, I think the public should be informed about the true colors of this club.

Equipment is always broken. Staff has poor training and not helpful, needed a credit card change on my account, asked if this can be done and not be charged a late fee then got charge $50+. Personal Training is a joke, a bunch of last minute flakes, and trick you by telling you your signing a terms and agreement for "health risk" but really it's a contract. The Owner is the biggest tool of all, brought both issues I had (refund, false contract) and he told me its my fault and it's on me. I'm sorry but if your team makes a mistake, make it better, not worse. That guy lives to argue and give you this attitude that he is better than everyone. Just a terrible place overall. Good luck to those signing up!

Should be called broke fit. Everything in this place is broken. Half of the cardio is broken. Both of the drinking fountains in the weights section are broken. Most of the seats on the machines are ripped and worn. Our kids are scared to go into the childrens area because they say that they aren't being watched. The must have not cleaned the fans since they opened. If you look up at the ones that are stopped (probably broken) there are clumps of dust hanging from them. Gross gym

I was so excited to become a part of the trufit family....little did I know it was not that great. There is always something broken weather it's a machine, paper towel dispenser, or missing parts to a machine. It also bothers me that there is an amazing crossfit room that is not fully utilized to its full potential. If I could cancel my membership I would but I'm stuck in a contract until March :(
