Today marks the first day of 'Ride to Work' week. The aim of which is to highlight how much more enjoyable the daily commute can be when done on 2 wheels. Leave the car on the drive, leave the bus pass at home, don your leathers and take your bike to work. Arrive feeling invigorated, alert on time and with a big smile on your face. Just remember to contact your insurer first to check you are covered for commuting use and get added if not. http://ridetoworkweek.co.uk/

The much anticipated IOM TT kicked off at the weekend however the bad weather has already caused some issues, including the IOM ferry being delayed causing fans to arrive later than hoped as well as a practice session being cancelled! Still, hopefully the weather should improve in time for the main races....

Bit blustery out there today? Remember to reduce your speed, tighten any loose or baggy bike clothing, reconsider your lane positioning (never nice being blown into an adjacent lane) and watch for gaps in trees lining either side of the road. Crosswinds can hit suddenly and hard. Other than that, its a great day for riding.

More news of the much anticipated all new Honda Africa Twin is continuing to grab peoples attention. The successor to the iconic XRV750 Africa Twin, could this all new Honda CRF1000L Africa Twin set a new benchmark for the Adventure bike category? Lets hope so.

Get out of town, stay off the motorway and ride it positively, the natural habitat for this bike is fast, smooth, long sweepers. Give it the revs and input it needs and the Suzuki GSX-S1000 is more than a match for any other road bike you will come across. Its an awesome machine.

Whichever way you look at it. Suzuki's GSX-S1000 is a mean looking bit of kit, that rides as well, if not better, than it looks.

I recently had the chance to ride Suzuki's new 'Sports Roadster' the GSX-S1000. Using a Gixer thou powerplant it promises to be an exhilarating machine. The naked GSX-R everyone was hoping for?
