Three baby owls wake up one night and realize their Mom is gone...

Feed your children’s imagination with humor, mystery and magic while exposing them to French language (all levels are welcome). Traditional as well as contemporary French tales are staged with puppets and drawings. Side activities will facilitate comprehension and make them active. A rich and fun experience!

Escape late winter in Chicago in the kitchen of the Alliance for a cooking class that conjures up the flavors of Spring in Provence. Participants will prepare a Soupe au Pistou   (vegetable soup with basil), Roast Leg of Lamb with Thyme, Potato Gratin and a Goat Cheese Tart. 


Madelaine has been teaching French cooking techniques at Chez Madelaine Cooking School for over 30 years (chezM). She also organizes trips to France to help participants unveil the mysteries of French cuisine.

Chloé
In this Lecture, Nena Ivon presents Chloé's role as the Modernist from the founder Gaby Aghion to the subtlety of Clare Waight Keller.

Nena has taught the history of fashion designers of the 19th, 20th and 21st centuries as adjunct faculty at Columbia College Chicago for the past 25 years. In addition, she lectures on many fashion topics and produced thousands of fashion shows and special events as fashion director for Saks Fifth Avenue Chicago a position she held for 50+ years. She is currently President of the Costume Council of the Chicago History Museum.
