Real Men Taking A Knee
Here is the real story. Kaepernick is protesting 'police brutality' and 'racism'.
This protest is legal according to the First Amendment, because there is no coerced speech.
However the NFL rule book says that this type of protest results in team fines.
Kaepernick can sit out the National Anthem in the locker room. He is not being subjected to coerced speech. He is not oppressed.
Kaepernick is not required by law to honor the American flag. But he can be fired.
Political protests on company time and in front of large audiences are definitely bad moves.
Kaepernick can do political organizing work outside of work time.
There are a lot of bodies in the streets of Chicago. There is too much black on black violence in America.
But these protests accomplish nothing.

"A regional effort will help our countries respond better to these situations, so that we can coordinate efforts and provide humanitarian assistance to people on the move," Ecuador's Foreign Minister Jose Valencia told reporters ahead of the talks.
Colombia, Ecuador and Peru have all called for more funding from developed countries to assist their utterly overwhelmed public services.
The three countries have received the bulk of migrants flowing out of Venezuela.
The EU announced a $35 million aid package on Friday to support Venezuelans both at home and in host countries.
Ministers from Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, Chile, Mexico, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, the Dominican Republic, and Uruguay will be present at the Quito meeting, Ecuadoran officials said.

The number of children diagnosed with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) has reached more than 10 percent, a significant increase during the past 20 years, according to a study released Friday.

The study, published in JAMA Pediatrics, used data from the National Health Interview Survey, an annual federal survey of about 35,000 households. It found a steady increase in diagnoses among children from about 6 percent of children between 1997 and 1998 to more than 10 percent between 2015 and 2016.

The study also suggests that fewer stigmas about mental health care in minority communities may also lead to more people receiving an ADHD diagnosis.
In the late 1990s, 7.2 percent of non-Hispanic white children, 4.7 percent of non-Hispanic black children and 3.6 of Hispanic children were diagnosed with ADHD, according to the study.
By 2016, it was 12 percent of white kids, 12.8 percent of blacks and 6.1 percent of Hispanics.

Medicine Buddha: A Comprehensive Teaching And Set Of Practices
Medicine Buddha is one of the major practices of Great Way / Mahayana Buddhism, both the general tradition that spread across Northern Asia and for the inner esoteric tradition of Vajrayana ( Buddhist tantra ).
This system accomplishes several major goals, including
Purification of karma
Spiritual protection ( guardian angel Vajrapani practice )
Naturopathic medicine

Liberation from samsara.
Medicine Buddha was originally taught by Guru Sakyamuni Buddha and serves as the primary meeting ground of Hindu and Buddhist culture, specifically in the area of Ayurveda, the medical system of Hindu culture and Medicine Buddha.
The Buddhist system of medicine incorporates different forms of yoga and healing, including parts of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
It is an open and extensible system, with the basic principle that whatever heals people of sickness and debility is of the nature of Medicine Buddha.
Medicine Buddha can be studied and practiced by all reasonable people without any of the Buddhist commitments ( Refuge and Ten Precepts, Mahayana commitments, and so forth ).

There are also highest yoga tantra transmissions of Medicine Buddha, and in some cases these include Great Perfection / Dzogchen pure awareness yoga.
Any high transmission of Guru Padmasambhava includes a high and complete transmission of Medicine Buddha and also the healing aspect of Padmasambhava known as Medicine Buddha Padmasambhava.

Medicine Buddha is one of the major practices of Great Way / Mahayana Buddhism, both the general tradition that spread across Northern Asia and for the inner esoteric tradition of Vajrayana ( Buddhist tantra ).

Medicine Buddha was originally taught by Guru Sakyamuni Buddha and serves as the primary meeting ground of Hindu and Buddhist culture, specifically in the area of Ayurveda, the medical system of Hindu culture and Medicine Buddha.
The Buddhist system of medicine incorporates different forms of yoga and healing, including parts of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
It is an open and extensible system, with the basic principle that whatever heals people of sickness and debility is of the nature of Medicine Buddha.
Medicine Buddha can be studied and practiced by all reasonable people without any of the Buddhist commitments ( Refuge and Ten Precepts, Mahayana commitments, and so forth ).
