This large piece, 50" x 144" concrete countertop, was created by Flint Ridge Concrete Designs. The 850 lb. concrete countertop provides a nice large working surface for the kitchen and will forever be the feature of the room. Doug, owner of Flint Ridge Concrete Designs, creates his custom forms at his shop and uses GFRC to make the countertops.
We will be offering an Intro to GFRC Concrete Countertops training class in December, http://www.deco-cretesupply.com/intro-gfrc-countertops
Make sure to check out Flint Ridge Concrete Designs Facebook Page for more creations!

Cementious overlays are fast becoming a popular floor alternative to hardwood and tile. Their excellent adhesion also makes them an excellent restoration material for exterior concrete surfaces. With costs as low as $0.30 a square feet, there is money to be made as margins are high.

Sign up today. Space is limited.

Christian Montanero, owner of Montanero Construction Co. LLC, traveled from Pennsylvania to attend our Advanced Stamped Concrete Training class we had in October. He came to the class knowing he had a job in the near future where he could apply his newly learned skills.
Christian purchased Deco-Crete Cappuccino, Antique Buff & Dark Gray Color Hardener with Dark Gray Antique Release during the training class to complete this job.
"I feel 100% more confident stamping concrete as well as the business expertise. For my first time using color hardener and monolithic borders, I know I need more practice but so much happier with the outcome of this project because of the skills I learned during the training, and my client is extremely happy with the outcome of the project!" - Christian Montanero
Thank you Christian! Awesome Job!

We started the project for Mr. Ed Schafrath. All this week we will be releasing pictures of the project as it unfolds, with a final video showing everyone why we feel he is such a deserving recipient of a project by our organization. What a privilege it's been getting to know Mr. Schafrath and his family throughout this entire process - from selection, to the announcement, to the start of the project; a family that is physically supporting this endeavor by volunteering to help! Thank you to the entire Schafrath family, and an additional thank you to Mr. Schafrath's daughter Rachel Hoffee for coordinating a number of things leading up to this project.
Mr. Schafrath is a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in the Vietnam War. We decided to go ahead and make this a "front yard" makeover rather than a backyard makeover. Here are some pictures of what things look like before we start to do our thing...
Keim Concrete will be hard at work on this project!

Hopefully everyone enjoyed the holiday weekend! We have a couple more weeks of summer left so there is still time to get your #stampedconcrete patio in this year.
Consider having your front porch stamped with Proline Decorative Concrete Systems Reclaimed Timber stamps like the one R C Concrete and Design did for a client. They used Deco-Crete's Brownstone Color Hardener and Dark Gray Antique Release to achieve a natural wood color.
If you are in the #ColumbusOhio area make sure to check out RC Concrete & Design's page!

Aaron Merle of Merle's Concrete wanted to offer his customers a different option of coloring concrete. So instead of using integral color he converted over to color hardener. Color Hardener has many advantages such as making the surface denser. Also with color hardener you have the option of choosing a really light shade unlike from integral color.
Looking into using Color Hardener? Make sure to check out our Advanced Stamped Concrete Training, October 12th - 14th. You can reserve your spot today at www.deco-cretesupply.com/trainings
This job consisted of Deco-Crete's Sandstone Color Hardener and Medium Gray Release. Aaron stamped with MATCRETE INC.'s Ashlar Cut Slate with a solider course used brick border. The border was colored with Deco-Crete's Medium Gray CH and the job was sealed with Super Stamp Seal.

Matt Roberts of MWR Construction came to our Flex-C-Ment training in January to learn about overlays and stamping vertical concrete and in return he was able to create this amazing work space. The work space was an existing table so he applied Gray Wall Mix to the sides and Flex Stamp to the counter top without having to rip anything apart. He used Smith Paint Products to stain the Mountain Dry Stack pattern which gave it a natural look.
