Introduction

Laura Lorenzetti is a current student at the CUNY Graduate School of Journalism pursuing a specialty in multimedia journalism. With a passion for storytelling, Laura pursues the untold stories around us that spark ideas, change minds or simply delight a reader.

After five years working in branding and product design, Laura realized that she loved crafting the stories and building a narrative. While developing new brands is exciting, what she really enjoyed most was telling the stories of real people: the gritty ones, the proud ones and everything in between.

Laura, a southerner by tradition, moved from Atlanta to New York to pursue her undergraduate degree at New York University in Economics and Journalism. Arriving with only the knowledge that Fifth Avenue hits the Washington Square Arch, she has since studied and memorized the New York City map. She is now living in Brooklyn, NY. Also, she is happy to share her biscuit recipe with anyone who asks.

Mike was a fantastic vendor both leading up to and, of course, during the wedding. He worked great with both our venue and our coordinator. He made organizing our thoughts around songs --- both what we wanted played and when we wanted them played -- a breeze. Then of course there as the actual event itself. It was a DANCE PARTY all thanks to Mike. Lots of great hits, no cheesy wedding DJ stuff, and fantastic mixing skills. We couldn't have been happier. Of course we're biased, but definitely the best wedding DJ we've ever experienced.

It's taken me too long to write this review! This is the best veterinarian in New York City. Dr. Silverman is amazing. He is calm, collected, knowledgeable, and treated my dog with such care. Lucy had knee surgery a year ago with Dr. Silverman. Beforehand, I spent hours researching the best option for surgery because it was an expensive (and necessary) operation. I was also nervous about having just any vet put her under. Dr. Silverman calmed my fears -- and he also performed a meticulous surgery on Lucy while the staff took incredible care of her while she stayed overnight. She recovered exactly as described to me. Took her about 1-2 weeks to start walking on it again and she was running on it by about 6-8 weeks out. Today, you'd never know she had a problem at all. On top of all this, their prices are very fair. I highly recommend this vet!
