Dear all,

Facing criticism is as easy as facing praise because the logic behind the response to criticism is the same as that of praise! We find a treasure of insights on handling and responding to criticism in the teachings of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. The experiences of different people only add to the clarity and practicality of these insights.

It all boils down to one test to determine whether we should respond or keep silent and another test to determine how that response should be.

This is a talk delivered on the 29th of June 2018 in the Sathsangh Hall at Prasanthi Nilayam.

#Death is a mystery that arouses dread and awe. Waiting for it lead #Kamsa to become a vicious ruler while waiting for it made #Parikshit a realized soul and gifted us with the #SrimadBhagawatham.

#SathyaSai says that death is the dress of life. What does it mean? How can death be used as a positive influence in life? How should we approach death? Here are a few thoughts based on 3 amazing death experiences involving our dear Swami...

"Sai, Thy Kingdom Come"

For #SathyaSai devotees around the globe, that term stands for His supposed reappearance in the physical form after #Mahasamadhi. However, is it the case of 'understanding-after-the-event'? That is what a startling #revelation in the interview room to two students seems to point at.

Here are some thoughts (and they are quite detailed, let me warn you) along with a few experiences about my understanding of whether Swami will come again in the physical form.

Who does not face #criticism and #abuse? But then, how many of us know how to handle it? Here are some beautiful #tips and #techniques from Sri #SathyaSai on handling criticism. These are what He Himself did.

More important for us Sai devotees, Swami also reveals how to handle those who criticise and abuse Swami. The super experience of Prof. Nanjundaiah and the story of Shishupala and... so much more... :)

"Jesus #Christ, the saviour, bled to save mankind from its sins."

I have heard this story many times when I studied in a Christian school as a child. Though I knew the story by heart, it never touched my heart because it remained only in the realms of the head. I understood the meaning and significance of Christ #bleeding for His children when I experienced the supreme love behind such an act on the 11th of January, 1999. That is a day etched in my heart coupled with mixed emotions. It is a day whose memory makes me smile and cry at the same time. It is a day when my dear Swami, my God and Master Bhagawan Sri #SathyaSai Baba, bled so that one college student could be safe and all the students of the educational institutions could be happy!

Coping with the absence of Swami, #SathyaSai, is often difficult. But here is a method that Swami Himself taught. It happened during the first Krishna #Janmashtami celebrations in Prasanthi Nilayam after the #Mahasamadhi... It happened when I was feeling so low and sad...

The ability to see God in everyone and everything is the key to enlightenment. But what does it mean at a practical level? I worship and revere my God, my Swami. Does it mean that I should worship with flowers and serve the feet of every person I come across?

What should one do to be able to see God in all and yet function normally in day to day life? This is a short talk based on the teachings of Bhagawan Sri #SathyaSai Baba.

#RARE DISCOVERY!

Here is an #editorial article from the #archives of the New-York based magazine - The #Newsweek - on Bhagawan Sri #SathyaSai Baba where the critical piece concludes on a note of awe and respect. The article was written in 1969!

Swami's glory spread so far, so quickly that even in 1969, USA's No.2 magazine carried an awe-filled and beautiful article on Him just before His 44th Birthday Celebrations.

Sadly, the article was not available anywhere on the internet. Thanks to a devotee, a scan of this paper, 44 years old, was obtained. The article and the scan are both presented here.

Many times I used to wonder whether God is not helping me because of my #Karma. How wrong I was! A roller-coaster ride of an experience with #SathyaSai when I was an under-graduate student taught me a lot about how God deals with Karma and the #FruitsOfActions.

I have written about this before I know... But just like wine, our wisdom too ripens with time and we gain new perspectives... Unlike last time, it is presented here in one place - no multiple parts!

"How to go to Prasanthi Nilayam and have darshan?"
- Simple. Take a car/bus/train/flight.
The actual answer is very different and very revealing.

"How to get a dream about #SathyaSai?"
- Simple. Think of Him all the while.
The actual answer is very different and very revealing.

Here is a bizarre experience concerning #LucidDreaming which is insightful as well.
