No need to bring your umbrellas but It is the 25th anniversary gala of Children’s Hope – so what better way to celebrate than with a full-fledged joyous Monsoon Wedding?

It’s the wedding of the year and to officiate it, there’s none more qualified than the feisty Mira Nair who brings a preview peek of her hot new musical ‘Monsoon Wedding’ right to the gala! Enjoy musical numbers from this wedding blast with Anisha Nagarajan and Namit Das, along with the cast of ‘Monsoon Wedding’ and dancers from the wonderful Sa Dance Company.

As a journalist, I’ve always been intrigued by the unique experiences, sights and sounds of individual lives, a billion stories waiting to be told. Immigrants who’ve traveled to a new country always have their idiosyncratic cache of memories, of a past which belongs only to themselves. Here they share their Diwali stories.
