But even with the passage of time, there are certain images that are still present in our minds: the red doubledecker bus with its roof ripped off, commuters evacuating Tube carriages through dimly-lit tunnels and the wounded woman, a mask covering her face, being led from Edgware Road station.
52 people were killed in coordinated attacks across central London on the morning of July 7, 2005. Hundreds more were injured.
Over the course of the day, photographers and eyewitnesses captured the horror and destruction of the London Underground at Edgware Road, Aldgate and Russell Square, and the number 30 bus at Tavistock Square.

Ministers and officials in Mozambique on Monday burned the world's largest seizure of rhino horn in a public stand against wildlife poaching.
Mozambique has long been embattled in a poaching crisis that saw a dramatic decline in the nation's elephant population. According to the Wildlife Conservation Society, a recent survey shows that the number of elephants has dropped 48 percent in just the last five years, from a little over 20,000 to just around 10,300.
Rhinos, on the other hand, were reported to have already faced extinction in the Republic back in 2013. Mozambique's rhino population had been wiped out by hunters over a century ago, but was reconstituted a few years ago only to face the same fate.
In response, the nation is stepping up its efforts to curb poaching and put an end to its reputation as a trafficking route for illegal trade. Mozambican policed recently confiscated 1.3 tons of ivory and rhino horn, which made up part of the seizure that was destroyed Monday.
"Today sends a signal," said Celso Ismael Correia, Mozambique's Minister of Land, Environment and Rural Development. "Mozambique will not tolerate poachers, traffickers and the organised criminals which employ and pay them to kill our wildlife and threaten our communities."

In the latest incident, the Japanese companies have recalled more than 11 million vehicles worldwide with Takata airbags over concerns that front passenger and driver airbag inflators could deploy abnormally or rupture, possibly injuring passengers.

"These recalls are due to the potential that, depending on the vehicle, either the driver’s or passenger’s airbag inflators may be susceptible to moisture intrusion over time," Toyota wrote on its website. "If this happens, this could potentially make the inflator assembly prone to rupture during an accident, increasing the risk of injury to the occupant."

Who needs mere mortal, six-foot-tall supermodels to stomp down the runways when designers can fly their clothes down the catwalk instead?

At Tuesday's fashion spectacle known as Silicon Valley Fashion Week, drones replaced living models. The inaugural techie event launched the same day in San Francisco...

The three-day affair promises all attending it will take tech fashion from geek to chic. Its runway show last night at The Chapel showcased startup brands from the likes of Betabrand, for example.

Except, no models were to be seen....
