It’s a Portland story, really — tiny hole-in-the-wall grows up to be dependable neighborhood pizzeria in and around town. Since 1989, we’ve been tossing dough + loving every minute. Thanks Portland.

This location makes grabbing pizza, a sandwich or slice a ridiculous experience designed to milk tips through a perceived "dining experience". The sign when you walk in offers "wait to be seated or order to go". Unless you plan to order and vacate, you're not allowed to place your own order at the counter, you MUST take a table and wait to order through a waitress, wait some more, and do the entire restaurant ordering dance. Thursday 5pm, three tables occupied - 30 MIN WAIT for our two requests...a salad and a sandwich. No apologies. The waitress even had a trainee who helped her service the room... Today was our second bad experience here. We came here about a year ago, tried to order at the counter and were not permitted since we didn't plan to take it to-go..., we were allowed to seat ourselves...waited 20 min while other tables were serviced and no one gave us a glance. We left unserved, Inexcusable and pretentious.

I don't care for Pizzicato's pizza, but their other food is really good. Awesome salad's and panini's. But damn it they are ALWAYS sooooo slow. Ugh... every time we go here I regret it. We always get the simplest thing and it takes like 20-30 minutes to get our food every time. The worst part is, at night they don't let you just order at the counter. They try to make it a restaurant with a sever. Which makes it more expensive because you have to leave a tip. Seriously, just let me freakin order at the counter, like in the middle of the day! Then hurry up and make my sandwich and salad.

Fast delivery; they said it'd be an hour but it was about 30 mins. Really good Canadian Bacon and Pineapple. Very satisfied.

Great seasonal pies. Salads need some help but overall a solid slice.

First allow me to say, The pizza is amazing... However it's night's like these where their service leaves everything to be desired. Tonight I called in and waiting on hold for a total of about 10 minutes. When I finally got to give them my info for the delivery, she asked me to hold again. Then I got to order our pizzas. As I was giving them the credit card info, she took all the info and then I got hung up on. When I called back to figure out what happened, I got placed on hold again for another 5 minutes. Another person picked up and made sure my order was placed correctly. Must be a super busy night because it's going to take over an hour for 2 small pizzas to be delivered. In our past experiences of ordering around dinner time we've had problems. The pizza orders weren't quite right. Paid and asked for bacon on the pizza and didn't get any. Before that got told they don't have bacon nor can add chicken to a pizza. Pizzacato is a great place for pizza, and I'm sure in store is a much better experience, but I'm going to take my business to Bellagios for the time being. I'm sure I'll come back eventually because as I've stated, the pizza is amazing. But it wont be for awhile.

Good pizza and salad lunch combo, fresh and beats any nasty greasy guilt ridden hole in the wall. Nice sidewalk seating for people watching in the summer too

Some unique toppings, but the crust is too thin and crispy for me (I prefer a bit of chewiness), so there are better options. Delivery was slow, too, and they close early.

I try to try something different most days I come here, although on some days it's hard. That being said, there's nothing here I don't like.

Pizzicato hasn't shared anything with you.

People are more likely to share with you if you add them to your circles.
