Beautiful place. SO HUGE! Very clean. Professional staff. We went for a work event and I will definitely return for pleasure. I liked the downtown shuttle service. Really fun town too. You have to see this place to believe it!

When I walked into the lobby, I felt like I had been to this city within a city before, but I just couldn't place it. Then I remembered about ten years ago being at a work conference in Texas! Grapevine! There is a Gaylord Resort there and I had been there and I loved it then. Loved both experiences! This was my first trip to Nashville and I loved it! There is so much to see and do and I know I didn't even scratch the surface. The resort and covention center was a great respite after a night out in Nashville, listening to music and just hanging out in the city. I also had a message at the Relache and it was nothing short of amazing! The food at the Gaylord was first class. I never really thought about eating sushi or scallops or mahi mahi tacos anywhere not near the ocean, but it was fantastic at the Gaylord; all of it! I had the special on Wednesday night which was a scallop dish with grits. The flavors blew me away! I enjoyed this trip very, very much and look forward to going back. The service at the Gaylord was first class. Can't wait to go back!

With $20 a day parking and $18 a day hotel fee you can already tell it's going to be expensive. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful and huge and extremely well maintained, but everything is VERY VERY expensive. I understand it's a resort, but it's just not affordable for food and snacks. We chose to eat out elsewhere, and don't see us going back as it's a one time see everything kind of deal.

I am giving it a 2 because the house keeping staff and the room service attendants were extremely nice and welcoming. Also because it has an amazing view. waterfalls, trees etc.. It deserves a 1 star though, because the check-in attendants were unprofessional. I signed up for a room with a queen bed and they made me walk alll the way to my room( took me about 15mins) to find out it was a pull out bed.. Nope no warning for $200/night you get a pullout bed? U was there for a conference and they screwed up people's reservations. Over priced food, I was not impressed with anything I ate there. Even the frozen yogurt was bleh... I will stay at another hotel and visit to see the scenery. DO NOT STAY IN THIS PLACE!!!

We loved our stay at the Gaylord Opryland Resort! The staff ( from the valet service to the wait staff and everyone in between) was extremely accommodating and friendly! Although the room rate and in house restaurant prices were expensive; it was well worth it! The atrium room was very nice and extra clean. We dined at the Hickory Steak House and the American Cafe. We had excellent meals and outstanding service at both places. We will definitely return!

The facilities were stunning. Me and my wife walked the atriums one night during a violent thunderstorm and it was just awesome being in the safety of the atrium but watching the lightning overhead. Everything in the facility is ridiculously expensive, however, when you treat yourself to a resort of this caliber, its only reasonable to expect that. The staff were very courteous and helpful. It's funny to me the people who complain about the amount of walking in this resort, there's 9 acres of atrium! Thats typically why you come to a place like this, so yes you'll walk, but its worth every step. Thank you Opryland Resort
