Myriad of issues when dealing with the front desk. I was tricked into exchanging my room for one with only a sofa bed. Silly me, when I asked if there was a bed and the lady behind the counter only laughed, it should have been a red flag. I was locked out of my room midway through my stay. After giving the person at the counter my room cards and driver's license, I was informed that my credit card was denied and my ID was kept. After several minutes of arguing, I call the CC company and was informed that the hotel was using an incorrect expiration date. Not sure why this happened mid-stay, and the issue was fixed was swiping my card (shouldn't this have been step 1?). Now my CC chows additional charges beyond my checkout receipt. Not a good experience

This is one of my favorite hotels of all time. I have stayed here 3 times total and have had amazing service each time. I see that the price has recently went up a bit but the experience is still worth it. Thank you for many great memories and we look forward to new ones to come at your facility.

Staff is always professional and courteous. Very willing to help. Food is good. Pricey but expected. Rooms in the Garden are wonderfully comfortable. Only complaint is the distance between bus parking and the hotel. Wish they had a shuttle that ran when needed.

The service in the restaurants is worse than poor. The cost to eat is astronomical. A good breakfast is out of the question. Easily lost when trying to find a specific area of the resort because it is so huge with very little directions. Rooms very far from everything. I have trouble walking and tire easily with very few places to sit and rest along the way the distances seem even further away. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the atriums were beautiful and well kept.

While the rooms are similar to that of any other nice hotel, the full experience of the grounds is without compare. Within the hotel there are beautiful gardens, including a river and several waterfalls, fountains, and water and light shows. There are both indoor and outdoor pools, as well as hot tubs and spa services. Nice restauramts, live music in the lobby, chic boutiques and gift shops, and a glass ceiling to let in natural light make for an all-around amazing experience. 10 / 10 would recommend.

This facility is gorgeous and enormous! For a couple of days, I got lost every time I left my room. However, finding where I needed to go always seemed like an adventure because there was always something new to see or a different route to take to get to my destination. Most of the staff is very friendly and has learned to recognize that "I'm lost" look on guests faces and will approach you to offer assistance. Possibly my only complaint was the freezing temperature of the conference rooms. I recognize, however, that it is impossible to make everyone happy in this area. Plus it was always easy to take a break and thaw out by finding an outside balcony with a view, or taking a stroll along one of the many winding walking paths. All-in-all, a great place to visit!

The hotel is huge! It is gorgeous. Many great places to eat and drink. Staff is very friendly. Close to the mall, 20 minutes from downtown. Absolute fantastic place to stay.

We came for our 28th wedding anniversary with plans to dine inside the hotel. The steak restaurant was closed, tried the Mexican restaurant, very limited menu, not much more than a appetizer type foods, not even fajitas! Left there, went next door to the Italian restaurant, again, very limited menu. We ended up leaving the resort and eating dinner at Chilis in the mall (which was fabulous). Our room was clean, but smelled musty, bed was comfortable, but needed more pillows. Beautiful place but we won't be doing this again. $200.00+ for a room and they still charge you to park your car and a "resort" fee. Ridiculous.

Santa Claus Takes Center Stage in a New Heartwarming Storyline Featuring New Scenes Alongside Beloved Fan Favorites for a Magical Final Run in Nashville

Nashville, Tenn. (October 9, 2014)—MSG Entertainment (MSGE) announced today that the Radio City Christmas Spectacular starring the Rockettes will mark its final season in Nashville in 2014.

Commemorating its 13th and final year as part of Gaylord Opryland Resort’s annual A Country Christmas, America’s #1 holiday show will celebrate the magic of Christmas like never before with an all new, unforgettable experience as Santa Claus takes center stage with a re-imagined second act featuring technological enhancements and dazzling Rockettes choreography alongside beloved fan favorites.

The Christmas Spectacular will run at the Grand Ole Opry House from November 21 – December 24, 2014. Tickets are on sale now.

“After 13 incredible years in Nashville, we are announcing the final season of the Radio City Christmas Spectacular at the Grand Ole Opry House,” says David Goodman, president of productions and live entertainment, MSG Entertainment. “We are so grateful for Nashville audiences making the Radio City Christmas Spectacular part of their holiday traditions over the years and, as a gift to both newcomers and returning guests, we are bringing a re-imagined second act to make for a magical final year at the Grand Ole Opry House. With this heartwarming new storyline coupled with technological enhancements and the precision technique of the legendary Rockettes, audiences will not want to miss this year’s production.”

In the brand new storyline, Santa Claus helps two brothers find a special gift for their sister in “Magic is There,” taking them on a magical journey to his workshop at the North Pole, where playful ragdolls come to life. The newly re-imagined scene, “Here Comes Santa Claus,” reveals how Santa can be in multiple places at once. These uplifting moments highlight the spirit of Christmas in a way that only Santa himself can deliver.

The Rockettes are known for their rich history, unrivaled talent, strength, precision and athleticism and have become one of the nation’s most beloved icons. They continue to take the Christmas Spectacular to new heights, dazzling audiences with their performance style, as it continues to be both deceivingly complex and entirely glamorous.

The Rockettes will bring audiences to their feet with the show-stopping number “Christmas in New York,” as they showcase their signature eye-high kicks and immerse audiences in the buzzing scenes and sounds of New York City. In fan-favorite scenes, including the high-energy, tap number, “The Twelve Days of Christmas,” the Rockettes will showcase their challenging and dynamic choreography.

The stage will come alive with scenes including “Sleigh Ride,” where the Rockettes become Santa’s reindeer, helping both Santa and the audience begin their magical journey, and “Christmas Dreams,” which will showcase the Rockettes unparalleled precision technique.

Beloved numbers such as “Parade of the Wooden Soldiers,” which continues to set the standard as the signature Rockettes number for precision performance, and “The Living Nativity,” both of which have been performed since the Christmas Spectacular’s inception in 1933, remain a vital part of the show’s core. Audiences will have the opportunity to lend their voices in the closing number, the “Hallelujah Chorus,” a tradition in the Nashville production.

Since 1933, the production at Radio City Music Hall has played to more than 75 million people and has become a holiday tradition for families. The Christmas Spectacular continues to create memories that audiences have come to treasure and this year, will mark an all new spectacular experience for Nashville as it celebrates its final year at the Grand Ole Opry House.
