Checking out the latest firmware for Pigtronix Infinity Looper - will find out in a few hours whether the freeze glitch has been sorted. It's annoying if you play a looong set, get to the encore and find, on first use, the Infinity has locked up.

There's a bunch of other stuff too, which further justifies the remote pedal. Excellent. Can't believe how versatile and clean-sounding is this lump of tech. I've not found one to beat it yet.

My latest MuzoBlog article is now up for a read. It's a word-audio-video fest investigating what Soundiron Olympus Symphonic Choral Collection can bring to songs crying out for a big-choir backing.

That most expressive of instruments, the human voice, carries the vast majority of modern songs. So now about arranging for 63 of them? That's what +Soundiron Sampling Olympus can offer your tracks.

A host of top American male and female choristers belt it out in Latin and liturgical Slavonic (Russian) via NI Kontakt's front-end, bringing drama, atmosphere and mad noises to your more anthemic musical outings. Get the inside line on this 44.6GB, golden-throated horde with my in-depth review of what Olympus can do.

And don't forget, if you need key music-tech stories in your Facebook newsfeed, click the Like button on the Doktor Fell @MuzoBlog Facebook page while logged into your personal Facebook profile: www.facebook.com/DoktorFellMuzoBlog

As ever, no selling, no blags, just pure muzo news posted for the love of tech.

So lurch, post-haste, to +Doktor Fell @MuzoBlog for words, audio and video relating the doings of a soft mandolin for +Native Instruments Kontakt 4.2+ - (full version).
