loved this idea - i am a photographer myself and sometimes ideas like these are truly inspiring - they show the boldness and the risk taking abilities of the photographer - it is only by going out of the box and sort of doing impulsive ideas you get great results - bravo Annie -
The OMD E5 is a fabulous combination with the good Leica lens. the level of detail and the colours and the range of filter options are the good points - the sensor is small but the process is superior to pack in loads of detail - The only problem I have with this camera is the grip and way it feels - it feels odd - not ergonomic - and with a heavy lens the balance is off ; and the touch screen and shoot is super sensitive - and a bit annoying -
in equatorial Singapore it is either spring time or rainy time - these bougainvillea flowers are abound all over my neighbor hood - i was on my morning walk and with my trusted and deadly lumix G with a 20 mm 1.7 lens I tried to get the beauty and the freshness - it soon became very sharp and hot and I had to retreat back to the cool - I will try this at dawn first light and see what I come up with -- this is too bright and pink for me - but still very beautiful - and for those not in the know - the leaves turn pink and colors - the real flower is in the middle - white and tiny - almost crying out for a macro lens - what do you think?
Nice rooms. Very convenient . Tucked away and not many people know about the gem of the place this is. I'd give anything to have the masala dosa and the coconut chutney at breakfast. Divine. It is a great simple hotel and every time I am here I find it more and more like home. Only issue is the web connection - not so good
