Check out this moving photo exhibit, and join community conversations about youth and family homelessness this fall.

We especially encourage you to come out to the Oct. 29 "Create Change" event. You'll hear stories from inspiring housing advocates, and make art to spark conversations about our region's homelessness crisis. We're honored to co-present this day of action with Seattle University's Project on Family Homelessness and +Seattle Public Library.

We need three minutes of your time, advocates! Please urge your lawmakers to support the Homeless Student Stability Act, which has a critical Senate committee hearing tomorrow. The HSSA will help close the learning gap for Washington's 32,000 homeless students by ensuring they are well supported by school districts. It will also provide new opportunities for stable homes for many families.

Please call the legislative hotline at 1.800.562.6000 and leave a message like this: "The Homeless Student Stability Act, SHB 1682, will result in short- and long-term savings, as well as better educational, health, and life outcomes for students and their families. Please support this important issue."

You can learn more about the HSSA at the link. Thanks for your help!
