Building the mindbridge...

The mindbridge approach is unique. It brings together coaching expertise with an understanding of how our brains actually work.

Our brief from Kate Lanz was to help launch and promote her new business. Her approach is specifically tailored to the needs of each individual company.

Kate has over thirty years’ business experience – nearly twenty years’ in leadership coaching combined with an outstanding track record of success as a senior executive. Kate was the first female – and youngest – International General Manager at Diageo, the world’s leading spirits producer.

It was in the role of General Manager that Kate developed an interest in the psychology of the working environment. Building on her MBA, her BSc in Psychology and her business experience, Kate established her international practice in corporate coaching. She now focuses on the power of modern neuroscience for releasing latent brain potential at work.

Our work included creating the overall branding, and other marketing items, but predominantly was in the creation of the new website mindbridge.co.uk

The menu navigation functionality when viewed on a mobile phone is a little bit different, and relates directly to the main branding.

A joint print & digital solution...

Our brief from the Wates Group was to provide a comprehensive suite of annual report printed and digital materials.

The annual report in print

The printed version of the annual report is a 40 page A4 document profiling the highlights of another successful year for the company. By combining powerful imagery, case studies and infographics we have helped to bring the business story of the year to life.

The Group credentials documents.

The Group credentials document is an undersized A4 6 page roll fold format and showcases an at-a-glance summary of the company’s achievements.

The individual business units credentials documents are all undersized A4 6 page roll fold formats and showcase an at-a-glance summary of each of the individual business units achievements.

The corporate folder.

The oversized A4 folder has a 12mm capacity to contain all of the printed items, consisting of the annual report, and both group and individual business unit credentials documents.

Bringing the infographics to life.

Throughout the printed and online documents there are over 100 bespoke infographics. Each one has been designed to communicate a specific business message.

The digital version of the annual report.

With more people accessing information via mobile devices, it was important the the annual review was easily viewed and navigated. Our solution is simple and effective.

Head Office reception screens.

To coincide with the launch of the annual review, we were tasked with creating an animated video to be shown on the large bespoke presentation screens located within the reception area of the head office in Leatherhead.

Infographics are a smash...

Badminton England is the sport's governing body in England and is based at the National Badminton Centre in Milton Keynes.

We were asked to design and produce the latest Annual Report for Badminton England. Part of the brief for the full colour A4 brochure was to simplify very complex data and information and create a very easy to read solution.

By creating numerous bespoke infographics we enabled the information to be presented in a very visually impactful manner. The combination of striking imagery and well considered graphics show that complex information can be made easier to understand and retain in a quicker and more effective manner than using text and images alone.

The results speak for themselves... and according to Adrian Christy, Chief Executive at Badminton England... "The design of the brochure means that this is indeed our best ever Annual Report!"

An award-winning event...

Wates Group is a family-owned construction, residential development and property services company.

The Chairman's Awards for Outstanding Achievement are the company's annual celebration of its people and projects.

This year's event took place in February and was held at the Underglobe within Shakespeare's Globe in London. Our role was to design and produce a stylish guide to the nominations and awards evening to profile all of the shortlisted award nominees.

In addition to the guide, a separate double-sided itineray and menu card was designed in a similar typographic style to the evenings guide brochure. The two publications were held together by a printed wrap around sleeve.

We also designed a series of pull-ups to help dress and brand the room and stage area, as well as creating directional signage leading throughout the venue itself.

The best in the world!

The Yonex All England Open Badminton Championships has been the sport's premier event for more than 100 years.

We were asked by Badminton England, who are the sports national governing body and who host the event, to design and produce the official event programme. Celebrating 25 years in Birmingham, this was the 108th year of the event, and took place from 14-18th March 2018 at the NIA.

The Yonex All England Open Badminton Championships takes place annually and attracts the best Badminton players from around the globe. The official event programme is a full colour, 64 page production.

Working closely with the editorial team within Badminton England, our role was to create a publication worthy of the elite world status of this event.

For all Badminton fans this is the crucial reference point for everything relating to the event. We believe the programme conveys the passion and the speed of the sport, which is in fact the fastest racket in the sport in the world.

Packed with background information about the players, predictions about potential winners, and combined with exciting images and infographics, the programme is a must have for all fans that attend the event each year.

This was the second world-class sporting event that we have designed and produced official event programmes for this year. The first event was the 2018 ITTF Team World Cup held at the Copper Box Arena located within the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park between 22nd - 25th February 2018.

Selling the experience…

We are the official brand & design consultants for MK Dons FC. We have been working with them since the club's inception in 2004.

Each season we design and produce a brochure aimed at promoting and selling the club's season tickets and corporate packages. Its aim is to encourage existing season ticket holders to renew, as well as encourage new fans to sign up. MK Dons is committed to keeping football at the heart of Milton Keynes, and our role is to support this aim with our activities. The brochure is the main focus of marketing activity, and forms the basis of additional material created by us, which includes TV and newspaper adverts, social media graphics and online graphics.

Research and fans’ feedback showed that there are several key factors that needed to be addressed with the campaign. The cover design, which wraps around both the front and back covers shows all of the main benefits of the season ticket campaign. It shows an image of these points as if laid out on the desktop of a typical fan.

Each of the individual graphics from the front cover become page headers for each specific message throughout the brochure.

The club is committed to attracting young fans which become the future generation of fans of the club. The ‘Under 12s go free’ message is a key part of the sales message. Special promotions are also tailored to address the needs of both students and young adults.

Rewarding the existing loyalty of season ticket holders is a main message of the campaign.

Integral to the brochure is a tri-fold application form which is stitched into the centre pages so that it can be removed and returned to the club.

A world class event...

We were asked by Table Tennis England to design and produce the official event programme for the 2018 ITTF Team World Cup.

The last edition of the ITTF Team World Cup was held in 2015 in Dubai, and the next edition will take place in Japan in 2019.

The world-class prestigious event was hosted and organised by Table Tennis England, the sport's national governing body.

The event took place at the Copper Box Arena located within the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park between 22nd - 25th February 2018, and was a major sporting attraction for London, with competitors and visitors arriving from all over the globe.

The 56 page A4 full colour programme showcases all that is best in the domestic and international sport of table tennis.

The ITTF Team World Cup comprises a total of 12 men’s and 12 women’s teams which are made up of a host team, Continental Champions and other top finishers at the 2016 World Team Table Tennis Championships. So the programme needed to reflect the truly international nature of the event.

As with all major sporting events, emphasis is placed upon inspiring the next generation of table tennis players.

Looking at healthy eating…

We were approached by Action for Children, a national children's charity following a recommendation from an existing client.

Our brief was to update the 'Eat better, start better' campaign and at the same time to apply the newly designed branding style for Action for Children.

A major part of the brief was to bring the content of the 'Eat better, start better' brochure to life, and to become more engaging than the old publication. The brochure gives practical advice about voluntary food and drink guidelines for Early Years settings in England.

It was agreed that we would create a bespoke set of illustrations that combined the brand style of black and white photographs with colourful illustrations. It is a much more fun and engaging way of conveying statistical information.

In addition to the main brochure, we also created a series of brochures that communicate specific messages around the healthy eating theme.

The project has been received exceptionally well by the client and other recipients of the materials. We are currently working on a series of sales materials including point of sale and display banners.

Wates Group, one of the UK's largest construction companies, asked us to create a striking HR newsletter to be distributed to its staff.

'About People' is a quarterly publication created to keep the company's employees up to date with the HR aspects of the business.

Our role is to ensure that the information is presented in a bright and approachable manner. By combining a well-written news style with bespoke infographics the newsletter is visually interesting and informative.

The information is presented in short, easily digestible topics, and has been well received by the client and staff alike.

Painting a digital solution…

We were approached by Ricardo Pimentel, who was keen to improve his brand proposition through the creation of a new website.

Ricardo Pimentel is a Cambridge-based artist. Once we understood what he wanted to achieve, we put together a brand positioning profile for him, which included the creation of a new brand identity for him.

The website has been created with a content management system and allows Ricardo to update the site himself. This was an important part of the brief, along with the desire to create a very visual, attractive and easy to navigate site.
