I enrolled in the Krav Maga class as a self defense tool with no previous experience and now have the confidence to defend myself after only a few months. The instructors are very personable and involved with the students and ensure that everybody is receiving adequate attention to perform with proper technique etc. The endurance aspect of the class can be a challenge if going 100% is for you, but you will also find yourself in great shape. There is a fair range of skill levels in the class and I have learned some great techniques and tricks from a few veterans as well. This class has brought me tremendous value and I look forward to every Tuesday and Thursday evenings.

Amazing atmosphere, excellent teaching, great workouts and practical self defense exercises. Both the students and the instructors are friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend signing up. It's worth every penny - and then some.

Our twelve year old son has been training in the martial arts since the age of two and has been in the instruction of several instructors and schools over that last ten years. He has accomplished significant milestones in his martial arts training . He began training in TKD with Master Hwang in 2012. Our first impressions of Master Hwang and her school were excellent and our feelings have been confirmed ever since. Master Hwang is a passionate accomplished martial art instructor who truly cares about her students; this is obviously apparent to those who watch just a couple classes. We are so happy to have found her school and would recommend it to anyone looking to begin or advance their martial arts education.

After relocating to Palm Beach County a in 2010, I enrolled my daughter into several activities including horseback riding and tennis lessons. About a year ago, at age 14, she expressed interest in self-defense. Since I had martial arts training in my youth, I knew the quality of teaching varies greatly. Geographically, the search for the "right" school included Stuart down to Boca Raton. Qualities sought was a school that instilled confidence, discipline, respect and one that taught patience, understanding and tolerance of others...the core philosophy of martial arts. I spoke to approximately 10 schools and the choice became crystal clear...Hwang's Martial Arts. The schools owner, Kristina Hwang spent 15-20 minutes on the phone detailing her philosophy of martial arts which mirrored exactly what we were looking for. The fact that her father, Grandmaster Jack Hwang was a 9th Degree Black Belt and is considered one of the founders of Tae Kwon Do in the US further solidified my decision. We're blessed to have such a talented instructor as Ms. Hwang in Palm Beach County. I don't hesitate to refer anyone interested in learning martial arts to her school.

Both of my children attend this Martial Arts school. I am very please and happy with the school owner and instructor Kristina Hwang. Most of all I am very satisfied with her teaching my 15 years old autistic son. She teaches him routines in Martial Arts and self defense, that I never thought possible. At first, I was very skeptical about the whole idea when he wanted to join with his sister. For years, I was not able to find a school and teacher that wanted to put his disability on the side. But Master Kristina Hwang did not see his autism as a barrier, she was honest with me about her class and routine, and that she would give it a try. Because of her patience and fearless attitude. I have a more discipline, social, autistic son. I see my son doing things that I never thought possible. His self confidence is amazing. Therefore, I recommend this school to any parent who wants to see their children self esteem and discipline improve in school and at home.
