It's launched! This was the story I was working on in the Philippines :) It's a great story, cause, and Winston trusted Google Maps on his Android phone to guide him the whole way!

great spot! main attraction delicious chicken and pork yakitori! other highlights: pork belly, karaage. wash it down with ice cold draft beer and nihonshu. went here to feast on a weeknight with a group of 5 and got out for less than 4,000¥ / person. highly recommended!

Terrific Tex-Mex style Mexican food in a beautiful 9th floor outdoor terrace, complete with fireplace (indoor seating available). We had juicy steak fajitas, tacos (al pastor! fried fish!), guacamole and chips, and margaritas. For a California guy desiring a taste of home, this really hit the spot, and the prices were quite reasonable (6000¥ for 2 incl. a few drinks!). Highly recommended.

WORD. “Climb the mountain not to plant your flag, but to embrace the challenge, enjoy the air and behold the view. Climb it so you can see the world, not so the world can see you.”

Talk about a hidden gem. Where else can you get a $2.50 bowl of delicious non-fast food noodles in SF!? Well in that case get me 3! Here the "secret menu" boat noodle special is an homage to the type of simple, locals-style dish that's served from boats on the watery canals of Thailand. I got one of each style, the pork, chicken and Tom Yum. Love the punchy and spicy flavors -- reminded me of my many travels to Southeast Asia. Wash it down with a Thai iced tea and leave a happy camper for only $10 pre-tax/tip!

My go-to morning pitstop before I go on a bike ride in Golden Gate Park, or through the Presidio on the way to the Golden Gate Bridge and Marin. A little biased but I love the cycling themed decor and food names. My favorite is the Mt. Ventoux, a buttery, flaky breakfast croissant with egg and veggies. I always get it with a Blue Bottle iced coffee (black) and I'm ready to take on the hills!

A "member's only" bar in Soho. A very welcome classy, quiet and intimate space to escape the madness and crowde streets of the bar scene nearby. Was invited by my friend and we checked out the roof area on a sunny London afternoon. The bartenders here are world-class, friendly and make incredible drinks. I had the Brigadoon (Scotch, apricot, lemon, orgeat) and Boulevardier (Bourbon, Campari, Italian vermouth). There's several floors with different themes and ambiance's as well, from the open, light roof area to the darker and moodier downstairs booths, and fireplace room with velvet couches/

My favorite place to meet up with friends before a bike ride across the Golden Gate bridge en route to Sausalito and Tiburon. If you haven't biked Paradise Loop, you're missing out! Fill up your water bottles and pump up your tires here and you'll be good to go. Lots of free parking. Tons of gear to shop to your sporty hearts' delight. Huge amount of bike, running and swimming clothes, gear and accessories. They often have shopping partieis and discounts, so keep an eye out for that. They also have 10% corporate discounts, so remember to ask.

Delicious southern food served in a dining room that is a throwback to a classier era, with large chandeliers and white table cloths. You'll want to dress up a bit (jackets recommended for the guys), but I was pleasantly suprised the service was super friendly and welcoming. Tried the gumbo (delicious), turtle soup (ok), stuffed quail (moist and yum), and the bourbon cream souffle (must-have). And of course, who can forget a few $0.25 martini's!

This place is a NOLA institution, and for good reason. It's right on the Mississipi River and serves amazing, piping hot, fluffy beignets doused in powdered sugar. They also sell and serve their famous chicory coffee, which is what is also used in my favorite, Vietnamese ice coffee. It's open 24/7, but expect a little bit of a wait. Go :)

There's really only one reason to come here. Order the #25 dry large, aka the fabled "Crack noodles" and if you somehow finish, ask for extra noodles. Pair up your bowl of deliciousness with cha gio (egg rolls) and cafe sua da (vietnamese iced coffee) and leave with a big smile on your face. Make sure you call ahead, because they close randomly without warning! Also bring cash, or else you'll have to use the scariest ATM in the world at the nearby liquor store.
