#WAH #WAHM The Decision to Homeschool - I decided to homeschool. A couple of other golf parents I know have mentioned it.  Some sang praises, others said it wasn't for their child.  One particular golf parent who's daughter competed against Lexi Thompson years ago mentioned that Lexi was homeschooled.  Seems like a great idea, after all we could schedule our practices early [...] http://ow.ly/2NEBCj

#WAH #WAHM 11-11-11 - Kayla played her very first Toyota Tour Cup Tournament this week at only 11 years old posting +11 to finish T11 in a field of 36 players.  As a parent I am excited, elated and impressed!  It took some time for the final scores to post that evening and when I told Kayla she pulled [...] http://ow.ly/2LPQZY

#WAH #WAHM You Can't Fix Perfect! - Took Kayla in for a driver club fitting yesterday.  She warmed up a little with an iron.  Then grabbed her driver and hit a ball.  The club fitter looked at me with a question on his face, "And, why do you want a new driver for her?"  Well, she's had a growth spurt this year, [...] http://ow.ly/2FOyk9

#WAH #WAHM Starting My New Year Resolution Early - I'd like to take up jogging.  Waiting for a day that's not too hot, where I have an extra 2 hours to spare and I'm not suffering from a cold, back pain or other physical ailment that hits a person my age. In the meanwhile, I'll sit comfortably in my car checking emails while the [...] http://ow.ly/2CgSjv

Bleeding red scoreboard last Sunday!  Kayla beat her best score posting 3-Under Par, 26.  She needed that to secure 1st because coming in second place was 2-Under Par!  Man, these girls are good!

#WAH #WAHM Mental Game Toughness - I am sure there is no quick fix solution to the mental game of golf.  I have the books, some on tape to listen to while on the road.  But, when it comes to my girls, I'm at a loss.  The more I'm involved, the more pressure they feel from me as a parent. This [...] http://ow.ly/2AwPCR

#WAH #WAHM Learn How to Keep Calm and Carry On - So, we all know that 50% of the game of golf is "mental."  If we play a hole poorly, we need to be able to let it go and focus on the next shot.  That goes the same for parent spectators. I personally like to spectate to be there for moral support, but to also [...] http://ow.ly/2zWKQj
