The restaurant/bar was dark and noisy. I got the chicken and waffles which were fine, but not incredible. I think next time I'll get the Blackened turkey burger which looked pretty good.

Don't judge a book by its cover; Trina's drab outside appearance belies its charm inside. Cocktails are spectacular, with my favorite being the woo wha (raspberry infused vodka, Mathilde peach, lime, and cranberry juice). Their food is always great as well, from the mac & cheese with a buttery ritz crumb topping, hot sandwiches, and the veggie plate. Whether for cocktails in the bar or a seated dinner, Trina's is a must.

Inman Square is one of my favorite neighborhoods north of the river to hang out in (especially for nightlife), and Trina's is one of my mainstays. It's a neighborhood joint, and you totally get the feeling that this place has a steady clientele that comes here loyally on the regular. The food is really good. Simple, but slightly fancier, pub-style food, and their hot dogs are the star attraction. I mean it, hot dogs. They come up with some very inventive combinations and toppings that blow your plain ol' Ball Park way outta the water. The cocktails are awesome, but if beer is more your speed, they've got you covered there too. The waitstaff and bartenders have always been nothing been super friendly to my group and me. To top it off? The 83 bus stops right in front of the bar and takes me back to my 'hood in Porter.

I have a very warm place in my heart for Trina's. Like, if I were to start a bar, I'd probably take a few tips from Trina's. The beer list is pretty standard, but the cocktails make all my lady friends quite happy. The food we get when we go is pretty awesome. There's enough space to hang out with a few good friends, and we tend to see some regulars there, which gives the place a real "home" feeling. We've been known to close our night out at Trina's, and we've never regretted it. Plus the bus that takes us near our house picks you up right out front. Use that bus app and mazimize your friday or saturday night at this place. As long as you live near the 83 bus.

Trina's is an absolute hole in the wall that you would never stop in unless you have cool friends who know where to find the best food and atmosphere. This place looks from the outside like only a local drunk would hang out there, but once inside you realize that it is a nice little bar with great service. If there is one thing you must try while there...well...its a toss up the mac & cheese is incredible, but in my opinion the Trina's burger is where it is at. It is an entire meal between two slices of bread and called a burger. Don't make this a first date because it is a messy meal, but it may be the tastiest burger in town so don't miss it!
