So let me start by saying before Trina's open it had a sign out front and was always closed up with a big metal door. Me and my roommates speculated it might be a strip club because it seemed like SOMETHING was going on tehre but it never seemed to be open. Fast forward to today.... Trina's is a pretty cool place. I describe it as a hip or hipster bar, with some OK food and a solid beer selection. It is always dimly lit, not TOO loud (well sometimes it is) and full of interesting characters. The decor is awesome and the waitstaff attentive. The fact of the matter is I've never been THAT impressed by the food, it gets crowded, and the bartenders/servers aren't as friendly as the adjascent parlor sports. I'm not totally sure but I think its also more expensive then parlor despite the two sharing a kitchen and being owned by the same people. Overall Trina's is a solid bar and I am glad it exists, but I'd go to parlor first.

Went with a friend, shared the Brisket and Mac & Cheese. Our waitress was very friendly and gave us some great beer recommendations (along with an excellent description of the flavors). The food was cooked perfectly, and our waitress didn't rush us or press us to order more drinks at the end of the meal when we were just lounging around chit-chatting (even though, as a former waitress myself, I know that can be frustrating on a slow Monday night). Also, thier Industry Brunch on Mondays is a non-stop, blissful party train. One of my favorites!

Dog of the day, excellent cocktails, and their amazing side dishes are all you need to know. Sweet potato hash. Often a wait on Fridays and Saturdays.

The restaurant/bar was dark and noisy. I got the chicken and waffles which were fine, but not incredible. I think next time I'll get the Blackened turkey burger which looked pretty good.

This place is awesome. It is the best place I've been to in Boston by far and all the staff is super cool. The people there are super cool as well and I love there drinks.

I just moved here (from Somerville) and was given excellent service even when it was rather busy. Automatically gave us chairs at the bar and waters. Looks boring on outside, tastefully retro on inside - I'm a fan!

Inman Square is one of my favorite neighborhoods north of the river to hang out in (especially for nightlife), and Trina's is one of my mainstays. It's a neighborhood joint, and you totally get the feeling that this place has a steady clientele that comes here loyally on the regular. The food is really good. Simple, but slightly fancier, pub-style food, and their hot dogs are the star attraction. I mean it, hot dogs. They come up with some very inventive combinations and toppings that blow your plain ol' Ball Park way outta the water. The cocktails are awesome, but if beer is more your speed, they've got you covered there too. The waitstaff and bartenders have always been nothing been super friendly to my group and me. To top it off? The 83 bus stops right in front of the bar and takes me back to my 'hood in Porter.

Don't judge a book by its cover; Trina's drab outside appearance belies its charm inside. Cocktails are spectacular, with my favorite being the woo wha (raspberry infused vodka, Mathilde peach, lime, and cranberry juice). Their food is always great as well, from the mac & cheese with a buttery ritz crumb topping, hot sandwiches, and the veggie plate. Whether for cocktails in the bar or a seated dinner, Trina's is a must.
