Must be 21yo+ to enter. Contrary to all the pictures you see, they only have one burger here and it's pretty awesome! I highly recommend getting a medium or medium rare. The fry's are also very good. It's hard to stop eating them. The ribs look very appetizing, but the taste is just so so. Nice bar, good selection of beer. My favorite is the Hefeweizen!

Always love going over to Father's office for a delicious burger and lots of great beer on tap. They have tons of drinks to choose from, and I usually like to try something different every time with all their unique brews on draft. I would highly recommend the burger - I consider it probably one of my top 5 in LA for sure if not higher. Perfect place to go with coworkers or a group of friends, their outside bench seating is great. Must be 21 to enter as they check ID at the door.

Bring your ID. Bring your ID. Bring your ID. "This is a BAR." As the door guy will remind you. A little rude, especially since a couple of people in gym clothes we're let in without ID right ahead of me. They 'just worked out' and didn't have their IDs on them. I had to go back to the office to get mine. I ordered a burger medium, it arrived rare. My friend ordered medium rare and was just about well done. The order at the bar system is off putting, but admittedly efficient for moving the high volume of lunch and after work diners through.

The burgers here are amazing, and a must have. I highly recommend getting it cooked Medium Rare, as it makes it that much better. The beer selection is vast, and rotates every day, which makes it worthwhile to keep coming back. Parking is a breeze, as there is plenty in the lot or on the streets around it. The isolation of it's location from the main street makes it an ideal location for dates, as it is almost always quiet enough for an intimate conversation, even when crowded.

Its always a special treat when eating here. I always get the F.O. burger which is fantastic. This time I tried their Liberty Duck Confit Salad and it was surprisingly good. I would recommend. The only thing I wish they had was more seating in this location. Sometimes its overly crowded and its very difficult to find a seat, especially if you have more than 2 people in your party.

The barley salad was NOT what I was expecting at all. Very small portion, $12 but definitely not fit to be an entree, quite unpleasant, very heavy on the horseradish, though I dont think its even mentioned on the menu description. We also ordered the mushrooms which were a bit too salty. Their only burger is served on sandwich bread and the portion sizes in general are smaller than one would expect for the prices here. The ambiance is very dim but the place was bustling on a Sunday night. We sat at the bar, but the bartenders/waiters were not very friendly with the exception of one guy with dark hair. Large beer selection. Id say come for the beers and eat elsewhere.

one of the few places in L.A. where one can sit and enjoy a beer without feeling rushed. great selection of beer, friendly and knowledgeable bar tenders, and the burgers are not bad either ;-)

Amazing beer selection, great vibe, helpful bartenders. However, the chef will not make any substitutions on food. Accept the no-substitutions menu thing before going in, and you'll have a great time.
