We serve an amazing selection of gluten free and vegan: pastries, a small savory menu, full espresso and tea menu, gluten free beer, wines by the glass or bottle and stellar signature cocktails.

The only thing you need to know about Petunia's is that it's gluten-free AND vegan. The storefront, menu, and signage does NOT tell you it is vegan, so if you happen in, off the street, you will not know this. I asked the owner/manager WHY they don't declare that they are vegan on their advertising and menus, and his philosophical reply was that their food is so delicious, that don't think people can tell the difference. LET ME ASSURE YOU, DUDE, PEOPLE CAN TELL THE DIFFERENCE, YOU ARE DELUDING YOURSELF. But with that said, there are people who need food prepared this way, and while I am sorry for their plight, I am glad they can eat at a snooty place like this. If you, however, do not digestively require super high-priced donuts prepared by privileged, vegan, gluten free hands, then don't waste your money at this pretty little empty-headed place. The food tastes simply awful. I repeat - AWFUL. I have no idea why people are satisfied with it (lack of experience?), but I would never elect to eat their food again. It made me cramped and ill for a full day and really annoyed that it was so expensive for such dreadful food.

Everything I've had by Petunia's has been absolutely delicious. I've tried GF baked goods at a variety of places, and GF/Vegan, and I think theirs always taste the most like a decadent dessert - the Papa Hayden of the GF/Vegan world!

I've ordered pies here for the office - birthdays and other celebrations - because we have both vegan and gluten free needs. Everyone, no matter their particular food preferences, raved that the pie was the best they'd ever eaten, and the gluten free folks were especially delighted and gobsmacked at the quality. I'm ordering again right now.

I went here with a friend of mine who wanted to find a GF bakery since she's intolerant. I can eat gluten, but truly felt like I wasn't missing out on anything at this bakery. I tried like 6 different things and they were all delicious and the people were friendly and wonderful.

Friendly service, good coffee in a retro feeling clean space. Loved the gluten free options and rate the desserts a 3 out of 5. They were a little too sweet & grainy for my liking.

We came expecting gluten free, but not expecting every item to be vegan. I wish I'd known that the mac 'n cheese was vegan prior to ordering. That the entire menu is vegan was news to us until we got home and did research. Gluten free and vegan can be done, but that doesn't mean that it SHOULD. I consistently find this sub sub genre of food to be off in flavor and texture. It's no different here. The only gluten free & vegan baking I've truly enjoyed was from Kyra's bake shop in Lake Oswego. But most of her stuff uses real dairy. The staff are nice, and the shop feels bright & cheery. They do serve wine & other cocktails, which are the only things I'll be ordering next time I go, sad to say.

I brought my parents here after wanting to come for years, and we met up with a friend. We ordered lunch, the employee went in the back to check to verify if they had what we ordered, which they did. 25 mins later she came out and said they were out of tempeh and they also needed 12 minutes to roast more vegetables. My friend was late for work, so I accepted a refund. No offer of free pastry. I left sad and upset :( Pastries and food are delicious!

This place is fun with friendly staff. I saw an earlier review of someone that seemed shocked to find out pastries have sugar in them and aren't healthy. Hopefully, you aren't coming here for your diet plan or expecting things to be sugar free. There's no more sugar at this gluten free establishment than, for example, the pink themed local donut establishment. It's slightly pricey, but worth it, especially if you have dietary restrictions but want to still enjoy. They also have an awesome selection of milks, including hemp and coconut, for the latte lovers.
