4thWall dev post: Work-in-progress.

Here's an update to Char in ZBrush from our freelance 3D artist (whom I'll post more about when the Char model is closer to finished). As you can see, there's a lot more detail in regards to clothing, etc..

I'd like to mention a key difference from our source concept art: The more realistic size of her eyes, even while we keep the cartoonish proportions otherwise. That was a hard decision, but I don't regret it.

Even though it looked fantastic in the concepts, every time I saw her eyes wider and deeper (on the sculpt), something didn't look right. I believe our 3D artist is sufficiently skilled, but some things don't translate as well from 2D to 3D. It's possible a perfect compromise could have been found eventually, but this would impact the effort on all of our characters to match the same style.

There's my personal preference here for sure, so I'm happy to hear critiques of my decision on this and that's why I've mentioned it. Feedback is good. =)
