My husband and I had an awful experience at the Silver Diner in Glen Allen, Virginia. The Waitress was childish and rude. The manager then came to our table claiming I made the waitress cry. Really? We then began the long wait for my meal. I was told my meal took "extra long" to cook. It never came. The waitress would come back, essentially trying to "bait" us into acting badly. We didn't. After waiting close to an hour for my meal, we got up to leave. (I should add that it was a quiet time, around 8:00 when we arrived). They had my meal ready in a take out bag. We left it there, but not before being presented with a full bill that included the meal not served. Save yourselves. There are better restaurants in the area with food served timely, with appropriate and polished waitstaff.

Food was blah, service was great tho. Cgickdn noodle soup had no flavor, steak was boring, even with the blue cheese on it. Milkshake was just okay

Not really I diner as such, it has the authentic look and music of a 50/60s diner, but without the menu. I heard one of the servers telling a customer, they changed up the menus about 5 years ago to something more sophisticated, yes, I would certainly agree with that. The only problem is, when you go into a place called a diner and looks like a diner, you expect to get diner type foods. I did not like much that was on the menu, the place had a weird feeling about it, probably because it was not what I was expecting. Still I ordered and ate a bacon cheeseburger and fries, the fries were warm shoestring type, the burger was ok, as someone mentioned above, not much bacon, not even a taste of bacon and certainly not worth the money. The place was clean, sat and served by two very odd individuals, this would be a one time visit as I was out of town, but I would not return even if I was back in town again.

Awesome Gluten Free French toast! And they cleaned the grill when I told them I had Celiac - without even having to ask them. Great for celiacs and everyone else! Nice staff and great atmosphere as well.

expensive food! Clean environment and happy workers, or at least they act happy, food appears healthy without the extra grease that you would expect at Ihop. Atmosphere is great, but menu offerings are marginal, but it's Richmond and choice is not a familiar term.

The food was overall disappointing, the cheese fries app wasn't good by any stretch such as very little cheese and over cooked bacon. My steak was also partially cooked, as in half of it was cooked and the other half was very undercooked then my poor very uncaesar salad was forgotten. All in all for the price it's not worth it so don't waste your time.

On Saturday Dec. 13th my wife and I ate at your location in the Westend of Richmond, VA. In one word – AWFUL! I’ve NEVER had a club sandwich before that I didn’t like – until then. Who cares if the bacon has Nitrates or not…THERE WASN’T ENOUGH BACON TO TELL! The amount of bacon couldn’t cover a cracker. The crab cakes (balls actually) went to the pets when we got home. The fries were like “little hard sticks”. Very sad. Earl E. Cousins Ashland, VA
