This is the third in this series (6) over the next few weeks in which a group of staff and volunteers from the National Trust Property of Mount Stewart was privileged to take a walk round the gardens with Neil Porteous, our Head Gardener. This time we walked round part of the lake and Neil is showing us some plants at Tir na nOg.

“It’s who you are and the way you live that count before God. Your worship must engage your spirit in the pursuit of truth. That’s the kind of people the Father is out looking for: those who are simply and honestly themselves before him in their worship. God is sheer being itself—Spirit. Those who worship him must do it out of their very being, their spirits, their true selves, in adoration.”

John 4:24

These photographs were taken at Castle Espie, near Comber and although these ducks are in a wetland centre, we do have all wild of them in Northern Ireland. They are Wigeon, Galdwall and Pintail ducks.

I am starting a series (7) over the next few weeks in which a group of staff and volunteers from the National Trust Property of Mount Stewart were privileged to take a walk round the gardens with Neil Porteous, our Head Gardener. I think today, just sit back and enjoy the beautiful surrounding of part of the formal and sunken gardens.
