Pixar explains the 22 rules for great storytelling

If anyone should know, it's Pixar. Here are three:

1. You admire a character for trying more than for their successes.

2. You gotta keep in mind what’s interesting to you as an audience, not what’s fun to do as a writer. They can be very different.

3. Trying for theme is important, but you won’t see what the story is actually about til you’re at the end of it. Now rewrite.

See the other 19 here:

Nice to see the same humor, but I'm not one of those that feels that newer computer animation is automatically better.
An honest to goodness, brand new Wile E. Coyote - Roadrunner cartoon made with today's technology (but all of the old humor). Enjoy!! This is the first Roadrunner done with computer graphics. Lots can be done with computer graphics that will be far less expensive to complete than those old Disney & Warner Bros style drawn animations. The computer graphics look good, and the video still has that Roadrunner fun. Only 3 minutes, but 3 minutes of fun! Be sure to go to "full screen" mode.

So, this is a thing the dairy industry wants to do, which is really not ok. If you'd like to tell the FDA that it's not ok, go here: http://www.regulations.gov/#!submitComment;D=FDA-2009-P-0147-0012

I love that sometimes the arms are straight up in the air, and sometimes straight down. Variety's important, I guess.

Wouldn't THAT be a formidable team...
Fans make the most clever crossovers. Here's a Wholock one (Sherlock/Doctor Who). Spoilers for both. Final Problem | Wholock Trailer

Good boy!
I can't stop laughing.

U.K. Police are under investigation for jokingly filling in a witness statement in the name of a force dog. Officers got annoyed when prosecutors tenaciously asked for a crime report from officer Peach, not realizing Peach was a police dog.

So they completed the form as if it had been written by Peach and signed it with a paw print.

Good Boy Peach.
