2. He is one of the leading voices in the world today in the protection and care of orangutans.
3. Through his leadership, Orangutan Outreach has made numerous connections with various local organizations who have achieved success through his advocacy.
4. So far, Orangutan Outreach has managed to save over fifty orangutans since its inception.
5. He is the proponent of the famous campaign “Apps for Apes.”
6. His work was featured in the Animal Planet series “Orangutan Island.”
7. He has raised over a million dollars for orangutan conservation.
8. He has courageously pressed forward in his campaign to save the orangutan habitat in spite of encountering strong opposition from the logging companies.
9. His passion for animals (more particularly orangutans) can be traced back to his college days, when he sat down everyday with a lonely orangutan named Moe to keep it company.
10. He is one of the foremost experts in orangutans worldwide.
