Freeman Latsos designed and constructed the old fashioned wood smoker in 1979 and it has been he cornerstone of Latsos barbecue ever since. We still at Smokies spend the long hours and smoke our meats the old fashioned way believing this makes all the difference when it comes to the quality of our smoked meats  Come out, relax and enjoy some of our great food, atmosphere, and friendly service.

We've seen Smokie's for awhile and finally went in. First visit was amazing! So glad to say that our second visit was just as great! The meat is so tender & has such great flavor you don't even need sauce, but the sauce is great too. The onion rings are absolutely awesome! Portions are more than fair, and we always take leftovers home. I recommend Smokie's whenever anyone asks for BBQ.

I have been looking for an awesome BBQ place in Broken Arrow. This is it. Highly recommend it. I had the BLT chicken and the Sliced brisket sandwiches. Both were fantastic. Great flavor. Great sauce. Great meat. Great service. Thanks.

My family stopped in here after a long afternoon of traveling around getting some stuff done. We knew we wanted bbq & had driven past this restaurant multiple times after buying our home here in broken arrow. My husband is always caoucious of smell home town restaurants & tried to talk me into a chain bbq restauant.(no thanks) We were a little thrown off by the size of the building & the amount of cars in the parking lot when we arrived but were very pleased with our food & service. My daughter loved being able to draw on the tables & ate almost all of her food (which is rare) Great place!! So glad we stopped in !!! It's close to home so will be stopping in more often !! (:

I was looking for authentic down home BBQ. I am from San Diego and this is the place. Nice service, excellent food. Fun chalk tables for kids. Delicious!!!!

I moved from Kansas City, so all BBQ I eat is held to the KC standard. Most places don't come close to measuring up, but Smokies raised the bar. The ribs especially were excellent. They don't even need sauce, but all their sauces were delicious too.

I love their sliced brisket and their sauce is good, just some good BBQ.

In short, a mediocre barbecue establishment. I went to Smokies on a date based on a suggestion from a friend saying that they had "the best ribs in town." While I can't attest to that as they were out of ribs when I arrived I can say that it's an average priced, average tasting barbecue joint with underwhelming service. I stood for several minutes in the entry way unsure of if we needed to seat ourselves or if they seated us to which we were very briefly told there was a list as the waitress resumed buzzing around the restaurant. The longer we were here the less impressed I was with service and food. I was hoping for a great, local barbecue establishment to support, however, as long as Rib Crib is still in business, I don't think I'll be coming back here.
