Freeman Latsos designed and constructed the old fashioned wood smoker in 1979 and it has been he cornerstone of Latsos barbecue ever since. We still at Smokies spend the long hours and smoke our meats the old fashioned way believing this makes all the difference when it comes to the quality of our smoked meats  Come out, relax and enjoy some of our great food, atmosphere, and friendly service.

I have been looking for an awesome BBQ place in Broken Arrow. This is it. Highly recommend it. I had the BLT chicken and the Sliced brisket sandwiches. Both were fantastic. Great flavor. Great sauce. Great meat. Great service. Thanks.

Tried this place out for the first time on Feb 6th (Friday evening). It was packed when we got there. Don't be fooled by the exterior or the location further out in the country, this is the best BBQ I've had since moving here in 2008. The meats were smoked perfectly, had great flavor, tender and delicious. The ribs were my favorite. The smoked chicken was 2nd. But everything was very good. I will definitely be returning soon!

I've lived near Smokies for 6 years and finally got the chance to stop in for lunch one day (thanks to a coworker), and I must say this BBQ joint offers the best BBQ I have ever had! The dinning area is small yes, but that doesn't bother me at all, the restaurant is very clean and I love the rustic look of the place. I will be coming back to Smokies, for many years to come! 2 thumbs up for sure!

The wife and I ate here just the other day. Once again, the service was excellent. The atmosphere was "down home", and very friendly. I had the half-rack of ribs, with BBQ beans and fries. As it was the other times we visited, the food was perfect. Just the right temperature, the serving portions were plentiful, and the wait staff, kept the iced tea coming. If you are looking for good food, excellent service, and a friendly staff, this is the place to go. We will visit again. Robin and Mark, (the owners) have a good thing going, here. This is what Oklahoma is all about.

In short, a mediocre barbecue establishment. I went to Smokies on a date based on a suggestion from a friend saying that they had "the best ribs in town." While I can't attest to that as they were out of ribs when I arrived I can say that it's an average priced, average tasting barbecue joint with underwhelming service. I stood for several minutes in the entry way unsure of if we needed to seat ourselves or if they seated us to which we were very briefly told there was a list as the waitress resumed buzzing around the restaurant. The longer we were here the less impressed I was with service and food. I was hoping for a great, local barbecue establishment to support, however, as long as Rib Crib is still in business, I don't think I'll be coming back here.

One of the best, if not the best in the Tulsa area.

Don't let their size fool you, this place is off the charts good! Try the pickle chips, they're incredible (but then, everything there is!)

I've driven by this place a hundred times. Each time I said, "We need to try that sometime." Today we finally stopped in for lunch. Best BBQ I've had in Oklahoma! The place is tiny, the type of place that only locals know about because it is definitely not in a busy area of town. But it is worth checking out if you are nearby. I'm sure there are other places that are just as good, maybe even better but so far this place takes the cake. My wife doesn't like BBQ and she liked this place. Kids got the kid's brisket sandwiches and the portions were big for an adult, much less kids. My wife and I tried the brisket, ribs and sausages. Everything was awesome. The ribs were legit BBQ...nicely trimmed, pretty smoke ring on the meat, slow smoked goodness. The brisket though was my favorite! Maybe the best brisket I've ever had. We really liked the way they cut it thin and piled it on. And if you like fried pickles, theirs is awesome and PLENTIFUL!
