Potatoes are not to be taken lightly.
A fall in potato crops, increased exports to Syria and Iraq and hoarding have led to an unprecedented potato shortage in Turkey.

The story of the two nuns has been told repeatedly among Palestinians, passed from generation to generation, but now their narratives are officially part of Catholic Church history, along with those of saints who lived and served with Jesus Christ in Palestine and throughout the world.
The Vatican has lifted Palestinian spirits with its recognition of the state of Palestine, canonization of two Palestinian nuns and reference to President Mahmoud Abbas as an “angel of peace.”

Saudi Arabia's request for tangible Pakistani help for Operation Decisive Storm in Yemen has led to an unprecedented rejection by Islamabad.
Pakistan's unanimous decision to stay out of the conflict brewing in Yemen, and to push for a political resolution rather than a military one, puts significant strain on bilateral relations, complicating Saudi-Pakistani diplomatic relations.

"He needed to start somewhere, and he most probably felt Saudi Arabia was a good place to start.”
Diplomats argue that Erdogan’s Saudi Arabia visit is an attempt to regain some of the regional clout Turkey has lost in the Middle East.

The dismissal was not expected to come in the form of a killing.
IS members have been drifting apart in Qalamoun, Syria, as disputes among top commanders have been escalating, leading to the dismissal of one emir and the probable assassination of another.

It was not Jack Nicholson, Johnny Depp, Brad Pitt nor Angelina Jolie who walked down the red carpet at the Karama Human Rights Film Festival, but Fatima al-Jaabari and children Ahmed al-Rai, Mohammed Abu Shamali and Salsabel Abu Shanab, as well as hundreds of other stars from the Gaza Strip, specifically the Shajaiyah neighborhood.
Children and residents from the Shajaiyah neighborhood in Gaza, which suffered mass destruction and massacres during the 2014 war, attended the Karama Human Rights Film Festival, featuring poignant movies about the tragedies.

A brief survey of Saudi opinion reveals that many elites consider Operation Decisive Storm a legitimate attempt to halt Iranian expansionism, while some view the intervention in Yemen as a sectarian war.

( ? A quién ayuda realmente ? Saludos

No less than 294 Turkish women were killed in 2014, and 60% of them perished at the hands of husbands and boyfriends.
Turkish courts rarely offer leniency to women who have killed their husbands in self-defense, mostly because the women are too ashamed to recount tales of their abuse.
