Ah, you mentioned the various stock hues but didn't mention the one that convinced the "Dick's" salesman to let me have my .410/.22 for only a flat $100 because nobody else wanted to purchase it. Yes, I have a PINK gun!
Well, I could ha've told you that single shot Brazilian shotguns are built for strength, reliability, and are very accepting of different ammo... I use .44 magnum in my Rossi .410 often without any problems!
Way back in the late 'sixties, Remington had a deal with the Boy Scouts of America for providing the Scout Camps with 514's to shoot. This is how I first became associated with that fine dingle shot .22, as used it at the "Camp Craig" shooting range outside of Milford, Ohio.
I've seen the current Ruger 10/22 Boy Scout anniversary model and I think it looks super attractive. If my two year old gets into scouting in the years to come I will likely be disappointed I did not pick one up for him now.
+Pheasant815 hey nice video, how do u like the rifle? my old lady neighbor who i help out is moving and found her husbands remington 514 and gave it to me, the bolt is really tough to operate, gotta clean it but cant wait to get it to the range, good video thanks
Hey, I several boxes of that Remingtom Lomg Colt ammo myself, and shot all of it through my own .32 Colt revolver (inherited from my grandfather). Hey, I even have a few Peters .32 Long Colt rounds sitting on my desk right in front of me now!
