I watched the video live last week but could not find a way to ask or comment. What do I need to do?

Jessica, you really hit home.  I started Photography 13 years ago, as soon as my son was born it was all about images and scrapping memories.  I have 7 Creative Memory albums of him alone then after he turned 7 my daughter was born.  It was only a couple years before that I owned my first DSLR. I was lucky enough to find a photography community in the earliest stages that taught me all that you talked about in your main focus of your video.   I will watch these from time to time even though I feel like I know it all, sometimes you pick up a little here and there that you need a refresher, or you may get lucky learn just a little something you didn't know the day before.  I actually have the same written tutorials on my blog, one of the first ones I put up when I first opened my blog a couple years ago because I felt so strongly about educating people about it.  (and so I didn't have to repeat myself all the time)  It is funny how people don't realize the importance until they have gone through the crash themselves. Lack of questions, or  lack of interest because people don't realize digital is work if you want to do right, and archive correctly.  Or doesn't take you seriously that you can't save a jpeg 20 times and expect awesome results.  Where you got me is when you talked about the later years, I asked myself when is the last time I even printed a stack?  I intend on working on it all the time but I end up spending my nights blogging or playing, editing is work!   Where you hit home was the photos on the wall.  Even as a portrait photographer, I don't care for photos on the living room wall but I was proud when you said this about having them in your home, or in an album.  My son still loves his albums, my daughter is begging for albums now of her own she is 6 now, but this last father's day I got papers and photos together for two handmade layouts, bought 2 raw 12x12 frames, stained them and had my kids make a layout each of themselves with their dad for father's day.  They are now hanging on the wall.  I am focusing on getting her a baby album done through Studio J as I just became a consultant.  Even being as PS savvy as I am, I will get it done anyway possible because it IS important to have them in print.   Knowing this software is going to make it quick and easy I will settle for less control.  You are a pioneer as well at digi scrapping I remember you from when I very first started, before we could even buy an affordable 12x12 printer, you may be able to do your layouts quicker  and easier than I can  but if this is what it takes for me to get it done I will throw the photos in and call it done.  Then go back to my mixed media as usual.  My point is that it IS important and I can see how it helps the self esteem.  That is so true and it only makes me want to do it more if it wasn't 1:30 am and I hadn't wasted my whole evening blogging, lol.  I do have a question though, since I am a consultant for CTMH's Studio J, (I am brand new at it)  most of the general population doesn't know about brightness contrast and histogram, they want to use the program for it's ease and fun factor without having to have a learning curve.  Is a online editor going to do the same job as Photoshop would as far as brightness/contrast.. very basic stuff. Even a PS beginner doesn't know all that right off the bat. There was a debate about it on a forum I mentioned if they educated themselves about the histogram and levels (ya the foreign language) their problems will be solved. I have only known Photoshop to be the best in editors, will an online editor be just as good for the general population?  I know it depends on the monitor and how far off their calibration (more foreign language) is too but alot of times you can get fair images off an uncalibrated monitor as well, or often enough people don't notice it when it does happen.  Thanks for the video, I hope to hear from you because I have been curious about that.  I believe in the product I am selling but I don't want to see disappointment from customers who may use the program due to not having Photoshop or have the time to learn about what makes the image pop.  Thanks again.  www.somanycrafts.com

+Tristina Eaton and +Jessica Sprague when you start out Hangout on Air.  If you start 30 minutes early (you don't have to be live yet).  You can get the embed code.  You put the embed code in your invitation and on the webpage.  If you want to talk to people, have them in your 10.  That is a different code and they need to be.  Happy to help you set it up - if you would like?

Excellent information and thank you for doing this. I'm sure it was a very long day for you. Looking forward to next week.  Can you continue with the explanation of the diffrences between Lightroom, ACDSee, and PSE Organizer for organizing your digital files? Thanks :)
