Crazy Apple fanboyz queuing up for the latest iPhone in Bath Friday morning. The even had a rent-a-crowd to applaud every punter that walked in the door. Technology is meant to be our servant, not the other way around!! sigh
Well it's only 5 days before I run the marathon! Time for a last push on the fundraising stakes! Anyone who doesn't yet know. I am running a full marathon for MacMillan Cancer Support at Nottingham Robin Hood Marathon on the 28th (this Sunday) because they are helping my auntie Dawn through her last days... and because there is nothing more I, or anyone else in this world, can do for her. Please if you can give anything in support of my run I would so appreciate it! you can donate through my just giving page. Every little helps and you'll be helping me over the finish line after only 12 weeks of training. (believe me it feels a hell of a lot longer than that!). Thank you!
Just had a half hour session back massage. I will be back for a longer massage as the knots in my shoulders, though much diminished need more attention than could be delivered in 30mins. Definitely recommended.
The guys at costas are great, always friendly and do a careful job. They are a bit pricey by national standards at £11 for a dry cut but they do a good job and if I'm in Cheltenham and need a cut they are still at the top of my list.
I was in need of a new pair of cycling gloves on the way into work one day. The staff were friendly and helpful and even agreed to haggle a little on the price! Which is almost unheard of these days! recommended.
I had to have a 2 piece suit dry cleaned and pressed for the next day and the staff were very helpful in holding the shop open a few minutes extra so I could collect the next day after work. I was very impressed by the care that had been taken to clean the garment and keep its shape after pressing. Top marks!
