Both times I came here the food was TO DIE FOR. Even now, three years later and living in Washington D.C, I still think about this restaurant. A little pricy? Yes. Worth it? Absolutely!

Fantastic food, but don't miss the bar upstairs. They are just as good at making outstanding cocktails as they are at dinner.

As a nearly 30 yr resident of Asheville, many different places have been tried but this is the one to which I return for drinks (Imperial Life upstairs), lunch, dinner or just for dessert. No, it's not cheap but the quality and staffing are always high quality. The menu changes with seasonal goods and the bar keeps a changing list of drinks, again, depending upon the season. Sit at the bar at Table and enjoy the show of the cook staff.

Food at the table was very good. Drinks upstairs at Imperial Life was better. Great bourbon selection.

Forget those old and bad reviews placed by their competitors when Table started catching everyone's attention... this is one fine place to enjoy wonderful food, drink, and service at a moderate price. Table Asheville is inspired, customer-focused, creative, and tasteful. Lots of local love with great intention and superb delivery. Don't hesitate, just try it and enjoy a good experience. Chef Jacob Sessoms is constantly exploring and evolving, all to our mutual benefit.

One of the top in my lists. The food is great and the wait staff knows how to please their customers. Had a my favorite breakfast there a few days ago. Huevos rancheros is very delicious. Peanut butter ice cream is definitely a winner IMO.

My husband and I made reservations for Saturday night. We usually shy away from crowds, but I was off work and the babysitter gave us a thumbs up so we trusted Martha Stewart's magazine and headed downtown to check Table out. We are very familiar with what Asheville has to offer as far as restaurant fair goes and had passed Table by several times. By the end of the evening I wished that we had this time as well. There is no such thing as ambiance here. The lighting is of interrogation quality and the tables are packed so tightly my chair was kicked at least once by everyone in the place. The music is a very loud techno track that wouldn't seem out of place at a rave, but was totally wrong here. Our table was tiny, but I found myself yelling at my husband to be heard. I will say that our server, Caitlin, was great, but onto the food. The venison tartare was drenched in cumin. My tongue practically sizzled and my palate was ruined for the rest of the dish. My scallops were seared well, but the portion was puny for the price. I don't mind paying for quality but twenty-seven dollars was ridiculous for three scallops. My husband's steak was as large as my plate was small, however, it was bland. It tasted more like unseasoned prime rib. Take your business elsewhere. Asheville has so much more to offer.
