We were seated promptly on arrival, mid-evening on a Saturday night. The restaurant was busy, but not overcrowded. Service was friendly and quick. Prices are very reasonably. As a family of five, we spent a little over $100 (with tip) for three kids meals, two adult entrees, an appetizer, soup, and drinks. Everyone was happy with their meals. C & D had pizza. E had a hamburger. M had the Jumbo Lump Crabcake. And I had the Stonington Bomster Scallops. If you are ordering the SB Scallops just for the scallops and don't intend to eat the rice and vegetables, you will leave hungry. It was a delicious meal, but for $20+, there aren't many scallops.

I went to the Mystic Boathouse for lunch yesterday and I had an enjoyable experience. I was in the mood for a cheese burger and they served a nice big one cooked the way I requested. My wife and the person I was eating with are both on a gluten free diet so we were a little disappointed in the limited selection. With a little modification my guest ordered the lobster over salad and ate every bit of it. I will go back again in the future.

Nice place to eat. Good Clam Chowder. 3 adults and a picky 13 year old and we all left satisfied. The Peanut Butter Pie was REALLY GOOD

Tasty piece of fresh swordfish. Patient waitress was particularly kind to my two young boys. Recommended stop on a trip to the nearby Mystic Aquarium.

Over rated; over priced Noisy Stuffed lobster was horrible; sides were worse.

The food made us sick! My husband and I went here for dinner in March 2014. After dinner, we both ended ill and up spending the whole evening in the bathroom. Not the way we wanted to start our vacation. I suggest skipping this place.
