First experience at a B&B. Location was perfect and the B&B excellent. We spent most of our two days in the house. The owners are very friendly. Great place for R&R and enjoyed the package for a massage at the Quapaw Bathhouse.

Enjoyed this bed and breakfast, which did have the most comfortable bed ever and an excellent breakfast both mornings! Only 2 miles from Oaklawn and walkable to downtown. Looking forward to coming back in the summer.

I think my favorite thing about The Gables Inn was the architectural details and the decor, both inside and outside of the Inn. We plan to stay at The Gables Inn whenever we return to Hot Springs, if there is room available. The hospitality was warm and welcoming. I appreciate the cash discount that is given. The inn was within walking distance of Bathhouse Row which allowed my husband and I to leave our car at the inn and not have to pay for parking for several hours downtown. The bed and linens were especially comfortable and I slept so well! The balcony to Lillian's room was such a pleasant place to sit in the early morning hours. It was the main reason I chose that room. I was able to look out over the beautiful garden below and see the streetlamp peeking through the branches of the Crepe Myrtle that spread out above a pretty white bench. Breakfast was such a delicious treat and the table settings were beautiful. I felt, in a small way, as though it were my own home because I was free to come and go with a key to the front door. I was also able to wander around and take all the photographs that I wanted for my keepsakes. Thank you for giving us one of the best retreats we've ever had. My husband was very impressed as well and we agree to return whenever we can. I am telling my family and friends about The Gables Inn and showing them a few of the photos I took there. Everyone so far has had very good things to say in response. Thank you again, David and Judy. Jo Scruggs

My wife and I got married at The Gables. We have stayed there for our anniversary the last four years and have tried out all four of the guest rooms. David & Judy, the innkeepers, are warm and hospitable folks. Lovely Victorian era house located close to the Historic District. There in no other place we would stay on a trip to Hot Springs!

My husband and I were married at the Gables Inn in May 2013. I wanted an outdoor setting for our ceremony and was very pleased with the different options that the Gables Inn offered. The grounds were well maintained and the setting was perfect for the intimate outdoor ceremony that we requested. The pictures that Judy took during and after the ceremony turned out great. Thanks to David & Judy for making our wedding day everything that we hoped for. Dennis & Ethel Padden

We got a warm welcome when we arrived. They offer a cash discount which is very nice. The room was very clean & there was snacks in our room when we arrived. Breakfast was promptly served at 9am which to me is the perfect time for breakfast. The home owners were both very nice & informative the entire time we were there. It was very relaxing & peaceful. There are chairs and swings on the porch to sit and relax on when ever you want to. I loved that it was walking distance from down town so we didn't have to find parking and or pay for parking but yet it's still very quiet where the b&b is located. We really loved it and it made our vacation very memorable. We loved the heart shaped big jacuzzi tub in the govenors room. The room was very spacious and romantic. They also have a dvd collection that you can get dvd's from to watch in your room becasue there is a dvd player in each room. This was actually our first time to stay in a bed and breakfast because we have always stayed in hotels but after our experience here, we have definately changed our minds and will stay in a bed and breakfast anywhere we go if one is available. The next time we are in Hot Springs, we will definately be staying in Gables Inn again. I told my inlaws how nice it was and I think they will be visiting hot springs soon and will stay in the Gables Inn.

My husband and I ride Harleys and we enjoy taking our vacations via our bikes. This summer was no exception. After traveling with friends more than 450 miles for a long weekend in NE Oklahoma, my husband and I decided we'd pamper ourselves on the way home for a few days in Hot Springs. We chose the Gables because of the GOOD reviews and the close proximity to the quaint downtown area and Bath House Row. We chose a package deal and Judy scheduled our spa baths and massages along with providing us with a gift certificate for dinner at the Brick House Grill, all of which were fabulous! We needed all the pampering we received both at the Gables and at the spa after we racked up another 300 miles between OK and AR. We met interesting people at the breakfast table both days we were there while we enjoyed delicious food and outstanding hospitality! The severe weather kept us indoors one afternoon which allowed us to rest and enjoy the serenity of the Govenor's room, which we chose because of the jet tub for two and the massive king-sized bed. We want to return in the fall, on our bikes with friends, to enjoy the cooler temperatures, fall colors, and the fireplace in the "our room" along with more yummy food for breakfast! We have told our friends in our motorcycle ministry to stay at the Gables when they visit Hot Springs because it's close to everything, the hospitality is great, the food is delicious, AND there's off street parking which is important for anyone, bikers or not. Thank you Judy and David for a wonderful time of rest and relaxation! God bless you and your beautiful home.
