I'm a 7 year old tu tu wearing, bread loving pitty mix!
My name is Juno! I wondered up to my mom's work in May of 2011. Her boss let her take me home, but then I got out and somebody called the cops on me and before I knew it I was dropped in a high kill pound! Mom came looking for me, though, even though I wasn't hers at the time and she offered to adopted me and find me a home. After 6 weeks in that horrible place, they FINALLY let her take me home. Dad and mom tried to find me the perfect home, but they quickly realized no home would be the right home....because I had already found my forever home with them. Over a year has passed. I have had several medical issues including incontinence, staph infections and lyme disease. My lymphnodes have been slightly enlarged for several months so my vet decided to do a cancer biopsy for lymphoma on Sept. 15, 2012. Mom and dad got they call they were dreading on Monday, Sept. 24, 2012 around 9:10pm.....I have intermediate lymphoma. My vet's name is Dr. B and she comes to my house, which is really cool. She said since I was doing really good right now, she was going to call NC state and talk with their oncologist to decide when we begin chemo. So, that's where my journey on the road to remission begins. Mom thought it would be a good idea to keep a blog and maybe give comfort to someone else going through the same thing. Stay posted for updates!
