Who knew you could find decent Puerto Rican food in Mill Valley? I always get the shrimp mofongo. It's made of mashed plantains and is quite filling! The first time I had it, it was good but the second time was very dry. I would come back if I was in the area but not a spot to go out of your way for.

Food was above average. Hot sauce on the tables is amazing! When I went late night, many of the well known dishes were sold out but this place is popular at all times!

Very surprised at how good it was. I saw the lines waiting to get in now I know why. Mango ice tea was awesome. I will gladly wait in line again😎👍

Love Sol Food. This is their smaller location located in Mill Valley. This spot is definitely less crowded and has more parking. However the location here is tiny, with only one community table that sits about 8 and a bunch of bar tables. It looks to be more of a delivery hub. As far as the food, this restaurant serves great Puerto Rican food. I really liked the Pollo de Horno and the bistec sandwich is good too (however the meat was a bit overcooked this time). I also want to try the ribs next time. Definitely use their vinegar based hot sauce with their awesome rice.

Can't say I hated the food as I didn't even stay long enough to eat. We arrived and it wasn't busy, and there were several seats available outside so we sat down. There was zero signage instructing us to do otherwise plus we had a dog so needed to secure outside seats. Within 30 seconds, the host or whoever came over and rudely told us that we needed to get out of their way so they could wipe the table down and furthermore, we shouldn't have sat down until we had ordered. Word of advice - if you want your customers to actually sit down and eat, try to be a little more welcoming and not bark at them to get up the second they sit down.
