Belgian Beers  -

Duchesse de Bourgogne, classed as a Flemish red I believe. Sour but refreshing.

This is a strange one. Tsjeeses Reserva. Reading the label it seems to be made for export to the US. It's strange to find in Belgium. Tsjeeses is made by the Struise brewery (for Belgium consumption only I guess) the 'Reserva' being saved for export?? Its an amber Christmas beer, cleverly spiced and aged in a port barrel. Again delicious. 10%

This question is idiotic really, the answer is 'to vaccinate'.

The US has been measles-free for 15 years but there has been a new outbreak, which started at Disneyland in California. The theme park has been praised for its handling of the outbreak, which may have been triggered by an overseas visitor. The spread of cases across seven states and Mexico is being blamed on parents who have chosen not to give their children the MMR vaccine, due to concerns about potential side effects. No authoritative research has been published to back up claims that the vaccine may be linked to autism and bowel disease.

The food was good but I think over priced for what you get. Coincidentally I'd say you pay about 1/3 more than you should.

Nice café in the centre of Leuven. The Orient has a good beer and malt whisky card and has a telenet hotspot. There's dancing on a Thursday night but I haven't been in a while (getting old!).

Good food in a lovely location. The degustatie menu was good value and very tasty for the most part. I was a little disappointed with the aangepaste beer option. Most of the beer was fairly standard Inbev fare, nothing unusual. On the whole though would recommend this restaurant and will go again (will go for wine next time).
