Best ramen I have ever had in my life. Staff was very friendly and willing to help first time visitors. They always yellin' some stuff out loud, but its cool because I'm Mexican, and it be like that.

Shin-Sen-Gumi is my favorite ramen place. I usually goto the location in Fountain Valley but this location also excels and have the consistent flavor. I love how SSG focus on one thing and one thing alone on each restaurant. In this location, they focus on getting that ramen right. They are so serious and meticulous about their ramen to the extend where they carefully consider how firm the noodles and how much oil to control in each bowl. Their broth is their essence and they live by keeping that broth in perfect balance. I also tried SSG yakitori and SSG shabu shabu and every store excels in their own specialty.

I've been gone from LA for only a week and I miss this place the most. Great Ramen plus mushrooms plus spicy miso plus extra noodles. Can be a wait during busy meal times, but it's always worth it.

After reading a friend's review, I HAD to check this place out. I got the recommended D-set (ramen and spam musubi) for lunch, and I wasn't disappointed. I really like their spam musubi here--they go easy on the sauce and the addition of the salty plum flavor seasoning is different (and good). To achieve some kind of a baseline, I got everything "normal," and I must say it was very very good. Next time I might try a firmer noodle, but the middle of the road treated me very well. My sis got the spicy miso topping, and I went for wonton. I loved the spicy miso, but the wonton wasn't anything special. I know what to do next time. The spicy miso adds a really nice kick. The gyoza that came with my sister's A-set were delectable also. An awesome place to go to after a night of drinking--put my head on right :P

Not what I consider the best ramen as my favorite is another style, but this ramen is good with the right toppings. What I really like here though is that I can customize my ramen how I like it...and (since I eat a lot) I also like how I can add noodles without having to order a new bowl. At current ramen bowl prices, I will not order several bowls of ramen but I have no qualms ordering several helpings of noodles. This may not be my favorite style of ramen but for this very reason, it is the ramen house I frequent the most. Keep em coming fellas! :-)

Come here all the time! Really flavorful and relaxing place. Kind of cold though. It's a market full of places to order food, really different from what I'm used to but it is great. Hakata ramen is my favorite!

We always got out for lunch on Sundays. We were looking for something different, first time trying Japanese cuisine. The whole family enjoyed it. 😋

I love the ramen. It's flavorful and the toppings are great. I've been to other places and this is the best of all.
