Great hamburger. The bun barely held it together but it was an overall good bun. The beef was thick and on point. The egg yolk was fantastically runny and really added to the overall greatness.

Had a big group and no reservation. They put us in a private room. Food was awesome. Sampled several apps and had the fried lobster burger which was as awesome as it sounds!

The food is good, although it is overpriced which is understandable because it is on Newbury Street. However my friends and I were hit hard by the additional costs of water and bread! The waitress asked if we wanted still or sparkling water and I wasn't sure what still was, but I was sure that sparkling would be expensive so I opted for the still. The water came in a large glass bottle that was already opened so I assumed that they were pouring tap water into the glass bottle. They refilled the bottle for us and asked if we wanted any bread while we were waiting. The four of us agreed to eat while waiting for another friend. After enjoying our meal, our waitress informed us that the cost of bread and water for our group would be TWENTY DOLLARS. Each bottle of water was $7 and the bread was $6. We thought this was absolutely ridiculous because the waitress had not informed us that the water and bread weren't complimentary. Obviously we didn't ask because almost every restaurant offers complimentary water and bread! Extra costs like this will increase their revenue, but will ultimately cause them to lose customers.

I've been to MET for both Brunch and dinner. I love their 5 STAR LOCATION on busy Newbury Street. They offer a recessed (AKA hidden from your spouse) outdoor deck with thick, padded benches and huge, shade umbrellas. (NOT out with your wife tonight? this review's for YOU!) I loved their SERVICE a little less than their food. Our waitress was friendly, but not enough to make what she referred to as a "Starbucks Coffee." All I requested was a "specialty coffee with caramel or chocolate syrup," which I know they DO have there. She mocked me and gave me a bland ice tea. This resulted in our final bill being 2 Back Bay $6 coffees less...and her tip $2 less too. (If management is reading this: use your hershey's syrup from the bar and charge more for fancycoffee.) THE FOOD is NOT CONSISTENT: At brunch, I had the "Captain Crunch French Toast," which was burnt and flavorless. Instead of being crunchy and was neither. I LOVE "Frosted Flake French Toast," and was a bad knock-off. I had a juicy burger full of gourmet goodness the next visit. Unfortunately, their fries are greasy shoe strings...and I'm a fresh cut, thick fry girl.

I have been here a few times and my favorite was when I skipped the restaurant and headed down to the bar. They have a number of really good selections, such as the charcuterie plate which is great to share with friends.

Food was awesome. We had the Sunday brunch menu and everything was exceptional. Our server Phillip was quite courteous and his suggestions were spot on.

I live across the street from here and have been dying to try it. I don't understand why the reviews aren't higher--it's really good! We went here for brunch this weekend and it was amazing! First they serve brunch tell 3:30 which is great for late sleepers. They have an extensive beer list and great salads too. The club sandwich is massive and really good - you could split this between 2 people if you got an appetizer or weren't very hungry or if you're a smaller girl. Great salads (huge!) and the chicken hash skillet off the brunch menu is AMAZING! Cool vibe and the basement bar is fun with TVs for a Sunday funday or weeknight game. In the summer they have a huge outdoor patio too. Will definitely be back.

I went here for Brunch on a Saturday. Food was really good. I got a chicken skillet on the menu that was great. Waitress was very accommodating and also provided me with a side of the jalapeno hollandaise that is a win and has a kick! Only drawback was they were out of a few ingredients and we couldnt have the nutella french toast. Mimosas were pretty good. Atmosphere is nice but was a little cold in our seating area. There was definitely more pros then cons and I will return for sure! I highly recommend it!
