VŠEFEST will Introduce Bands and Student Organizations from VŠE

9. 9. 2016 - On Wednesday, 28th September, at 3 p.m. a unique student event will take place at Jarov dormitories – the VŠEFEST festival organized by the All Arts Club VŠE. Five student bands will perform there and many student organizations will present their activities at stalls.

The All Arts Club is an organization which was established in order to support active participation by students of the University of Economics (VŠE) in cultural activities. So far, it has organized mostly music jams, where students interested in music may play a selection of instruments, sing and meet people with similar interests. At the VŠEFEST All Arts Club wants to prove that it is possible to have a good time without alcohol, therefore no alcoholic drinks will be served during the event.

The festival’s music program of the festival includes the rock group Other Way, which you may know from the traditional VŠE ball; the punk group Curlies, the rock-pop groups HighLights and eSeNCe, as well as another rock band Surrender Brainchild. The various VŠE student organizations will also present their activities, participation in which could liven up student life at the University of Economics, Prague. The main purpose of this event is to demonstrate how the students of the VŠE are able to manage various other activities in addition to their studies. These extra activities make a significant contribution towards building strong mutual ties, both to each other and to the VŠE.

The event starts at 3 p.m. at the Jarov dormitories (between the III G and F buildings) and admission is free. There will be no alcoholic beverages sold during the event. However, a wide variety of non-alcoholic drinks will be available free of charge. The event will conclude at 9 p.m.
