Was really looking forward to this. But was met by a very rude hostess. I arrived alone but I was not the only one who complained her that night. Then my group and I were sat by the windows which was uncomfortably cold despite the outdoor heaters above us! The staff although plentiful were inattetentive and we were only asked how our meal was after dessert was finished!!!!! We were never asked would we like drinks etc. Food was adequate but dessert was vile. Only thing eaten was the brownie. The waiter at the end told us we should come again during the week as they get slammed weekends! Sorry not good enough when two drinks cost 24 pounds and although they were busy by ten the place was half empty but service did not improve. We refused to pay the service charge and then the waiter came back and accused us of leaving him short! Nice interior but I was cold throughout and the whole experience and dessert left a bad taste in my mouth!

Most shocking food and service ever received!! Don't even want to give one star but no choice! would leave minus 5 if possible. We had the set menu as there was 10 off us and wanted to plan the night so thought this would be the best option.....wrong decision! the Starters were bland apart from the duck spring rolls... the prawn salad was literally defrosted prawns dumped on top of wet leaves with no seasoning, flavouring, or dressing what so ever! Now for the steak that half of us ordered, It has got to be the worst steak I have ever eaten... no word of a lie is was impossible to chewable.....a complete let down. And with regards to the service it was just shocking.....very unhelpful and very defensive when asked a question with regards to the bad food we received. we also had to be asked to be seated at 9.15pm when table was booked for 9pm, I could go on and on....ate here around 4 years ago and was so impressed and had an amazing meal...the decline in standard is shocking!! Don't waste your time and money!

Pricey but wonderful food. Highly recommended the beef rendang and crispy soft shell crab. Good for special occasions but they do timeout and other offers so watch out for those. The attached club is usually pretty busy too.

Pretty furnishings, food: basic. Great deco, but disposable chopsticks and no chopsticks holder downgrades the experience somewhat. Sushi was very average (no amazing sauce). Laksa tasted great albeit not authentic. Salmon overcooked and sauce both too sweet and too salty, brownie was dry, citrus dessert was ok. Basically food wasn't impressive.

When this first opened it was fantastic. Went there 2 days ago, and had to wait a while for our table. Once seated, our waitress came a long, who had no real clue about the menu, we ordered our starters which were okay not really worth the price they charge. Soon as we were done with our starters, we were asked to order our mains, we asked the waitress to give us a few minutes, and she was like I'm sorry but I can't as we need the table back. At this point the whole experience was ruined. When we booked there was no mention of a turn around time, usually respectable restaurants make you aware of this. We had mains, and desserts and soon as our dessert was done we were told they needed the table back. What was amusing is that they had so many tables available and it wasn't busy at all. Food quality is poor, might go back for cocktails but you could probably have similar cocktails anywhere for half the price.

Great food but quite pricey. Lovely ambience and atmosphere but when they have a live singer it's just too loud and you can't have a conversation with someone. Drinks are also pricey. It's a nice place, quite big and has a few bars to accommodate varying styles of music. Been here a few times and like it.

I can not explain how Gilgamesh nearly ruined my New Years Eve... We paid £50 for our tickets and upon arrival we were told that there was no space in the cloak room, on previous occasions they used a spare room as cloak room, however their greed for more, or some may say, lack of planning/disorganization, made the experience terrible for a lot of people. We even went as far as filming the manager telling us that there was no room and he wouldn't find a solution to it. It was embarrassing, it was very disorganised. Bar stuff were breaking the law by using contactless without showing us the amount and when I requested for a receipt he refused, so when I checked my bank account I was charged £29.95 for 3 vodka lemonade. That place used to be very classy and easy going, now it's disorganised and greedy. Do not recommend for big events. And reading that they also messed up with serving raw chicken that night, having some customers ill, shows that from entrance, to bars and restaurant the whole place was unprepared, which is not acceptable for the price paid and the size of the venue.
