Big fan of your work, sir. You're easily one of my favorite vloggers. Also my friend, I must interject this...there's only one secret to writing a novel...read a lot and write a lot. Start small. Boil it down. Think of it this way...one page a day. Do that and you have seven pages a week. Next thing you know you have nearly 30 pages by month's end. All of the sudden, after half a year, you have 180 pages. Not a complete draft but well over half for most modern fiction.
I mostly write screenplays but I have a few books rattling around in me. But that's how I survive the scriptwriting racket...one page at a time. Hell, sometimes it's one WORD at a time! Try to avoid the self-help "how to write a novel" market if you can. It can be somewhat destructive to the creative process.
Whatever you decide, I wish you the best!
