The Columbus State University Graduate School invites graduate students from all disciplines to submit a proposal for the 2017 Graduate Conference.

Theoretical and practical work submitted for consideration may include, but is not limited to, research papers, poster presentations, thesis and dissertation work, case study evaluations, and business plans/models.

The Columbus State University Graduate Conference gives students the opportunity to present their research at a multidisciplinary conference exclusively for graduate students. It gives faculty the opportunity to present and highlight the stars of their programs.

Students working on Thesis or Doctoral work are encouraged to also participate in the Three Minute Thesis (3MT®) Competition. Established by The University of Queensland in 2008, this exciting and challenging competition requires that students present their research in just three minutes in a way that is clear to a lay audience. Developing the ability to communicate the significance of their research succinctly, students gain important advantages as they seek careers after completing their education. This event is sure to be one of the highlights of the conference, and the first place winner receives $300!

The deadline for submitting proposals for the conference or the 3MT® competition is September 15th with final abstracts due by September 22nd.

Thanks to support from our sponsors, conference registration is only $45. Registration includes the Networking reception on Wednesday, continental breakfast and breaks on Thursday, and access to all graduate conference events and presentations on both days.
