This is exciting! I can't emphasize enough how exciting it really is.

The best part starts about 11 minutes in, that is where I realized this could change the world!

Most important is that this is only possible with the open source patents mentioned in the video. This is crucial.

And this is "something we should be doing anyway".

Plus, I want one of the home units.

"While cultural barriers continue to fall, we now know that biologically these barriers never existed in the first place". A quote from the program I'm watching, "Human Family Tree" on the National Geographic Channel. We really are just one family. Race does not exist. We are all human. If I had one wish, it would be that we could live together without hatred and without killing because of inconsequential differences. If you get the chance to watch this program, I recommend you do so.

So because I haven't been listening to "This Week in Science - the Kickass Science Podcast" for about a month, I missed the 25th Anniversary of the Hubble Space Telescope ---

Why is it that someone has to do research to prove that nothing has no effect?  It seems to be an exercise in futility!

My World View:  Atheist / Scientist / Secular Humanist
The Internet is changing the world
     Technology is Wonderful
     Google+ is addicting

A "Theory" is a  *proven*  hypothesis
Knowledge and Truth are what I strive for
          Science will get us there

Logic exists and I can prove it
I exist and I can prove it
everything else which can be proven follows

What is Science
A formalized methodology for organizing and generating information in the form of testable observations with predictive power about the universe and our actions.
