Marc-

Not sure how to reply directly to your nice comment. So here I am. I have been to Yosemite many times- the advantage of living in Ren-Carosn area and in/near S.F.. I wish I could go to Arches as many, although I have been to Bryce/Zion a bunch. Canyonlands is cool, with Mesa Verde just around the corner- but I digress. This was the first time I visited Yosemite in the winrer- was spectacular-. The two kids are Florita's grandsons, Alejandro and Andre- the first time they saw snow was this 2 week, once in a lifetime  trip to the bay area, Mendocino county. Monterey, and the Sierra

I've posted an aerial photo of what the American Potash test site on SITLA land between Dubinky Well & Spring Canyon Bottom Roads looks like from a distance. Up close, it is the size of several football fields, clear-cut & graded, including a large potash pit or pond below one berm. The American Endurance Race horse trail now comes to an abrupt end when it runs into one of the site's perimeter berms.

American Potash has the right to excavate seven other sites just like this one, split evenly between SITLA & BLM land. Earlier, we drove to two of the test sites on BLM land west of Tombstone Rock that have already been staked out. One is along Dripping Springs Rd. & the other is along Spring Canyon Point Rd. on the way to a great overlook of the Green River. The stakes on the sites read "NW corner of Pad" or "Center Line of Pad" or "SW corner of Pit", so the dimensions for the forthcoming test pads & potash pits are set in stick, so to speak.

Bundled  with the new oil pads we saw going in north of Dead Horse Point, the above ground Fidelity Oil pipeline that will run along Hwy 313 & Dubinky Well Rd. to Blue Hills Rd., the building of the Blue Hills Rd. compressor station, & all the water, chemical, & pipeline trucks plying the roads to and from these sites, I'm concerned that we've already lost the industrialization battle on the northern end of Island in the Sky between Arches, Canyonlands, & the Green River.
