What is a "starving artist"?
I've though long and hard about this particular phrase. I'm not exactly starving, I'm actually quite well off considering the examples I've seen of actual starving people... However. This is my blog and this is my rant. When you ask me to do a job to promot...

Volume 43, Chapter 93: The Mother's day edtion.
I missed a day. It's hard to write every day. I actually have to sit down and make a concentrated effort to do this. It's easy in jail-- what else am I going to do? In the real world? Not so easy. Where to begin. I have a lot on my mind lately. Particularly...

Volume 43, Chapter 70: the daily chai, and Nepal edition
Hello world As I mentioned previously , It's been awhile since I've done this. I'm a terrible procrastinator so I will see how long I can keep this up, but one of the things that inspired me was my sister . She hit a rough patch in her own life and followed...

Old blog, new post, fun stuff.
I know it's been awhile since I posted anything (sorry about that-- life gets in the way sometimes and Facebook is a time vortex that sucks you in), but I was surfing around the other day and came across this forum of nothing...

whaawhaawhaaa.... you shut me out-- You didn't talk to me about changing the style or layout, just one month I was no longer a part of it and you had a new designer. You didn't start it on your own. You had a lot of help and I had a lot to do with it at the beginning. Every ad you had, I designed. I added colour to the cover. I gave you something other than a photocopied piece of shit to shop around for those ads. How pissed off do you think I feel about this? To hear you bitch and cry about it just makes me want to catch the first plane to the US and punch you in the face.

Volume 43, chapter 94: Monday blues
I don't hate Mondays, but the beginning of a long week at work is nothing to look forward to. Mostly my long days at work this week consist of sitting alone in an empty office while the other teachers attend a 3 day workshop of changing teaching styles and ...

what to do...?
I find myself at a loss. I'm not sure what I should do with myself today. Normally, I would wake up, make some coffee, have a cigarette, and spend the next several hours going through Facebook, responding to correspondence and all the posts I agree/disagree...

Today's chai latte was a tall because I have to start watching my pennies. It was too milky and not spicy enough. I'm really going to have to have a word with them about that. SPICY,  I need it SPICY. Otherwise I'm just drink...

Hey, Brother, I like the photo of you. Nice GIF. (I only perused the first one). Speaking of Facespook, been thinkin of leavin it for a long time. I spend an eighth of my time with friends there, and more with politics. Its a good place to get theword out and the word in, but I agree, it is as you described it, and filled with detritus. I am also thikin of the "non world". You likin it?

Where to begin? That's always an issue when you ignore something so long. I wrote like mad for months and turned my back on it. Not so much turned my back, but got too caught up in living to write about life. It's probably be...
