Amazing burger and tasty fries. Friendly service and the whole meal came to about $20 per person. Very classy space with high ceilings and stained glass windows.

The ambiance is amazing in this restaurant. The staff is well versed on what they offer and Philadelphia. Above all, the food was superb. By far one of the best restaurants I've been to. I ordered the swordfish with salmon. It was perfectly cooked and seasoned. My husband had the surf & turf. The steak was prime cut, seasoned just enough & cooked perfectly. There was a slight crispiness on the outside and the inside was juicy and tender. The lobster was perfection as well. I couldn't say enough good things about this restaurant. Best steakhouse OF LIFE.

Service was less than what was expected for the price. Side dishes were delicious especially the asparagus and hashbrowns. The filet mignon was good but I've had better quality steaks at more reasonable prices.

Boo to Stephen Starr!!!! I have spent thousands of $$$$ here for entertaining clients and always requested a certain waiter from their waitstaff . He always made myself and clients feel like we were getting 5 star treatment every time, and also helped me land huge business deals from the experience at dinners and lunches. But due to an unfortunate event the best waiter in the city was fired for a incident that was not his fault and was a victim of some other waiters negligence. I will never spend another $ at any of the Starr restaurants in Philly or anywhere else and will never recommend anyone to go to these establishments. It's a travesty that an unjustified firing will deprive folks the pleasure of the best dining experience by a fantastic waiter. Shame on Starr Restaurants!!!!!

One of the best Burgers I've ever had in Philly. Its huge, and it comes with a ton of fries! Came cooked exactly as I ordered it, and perfectly seasoned. One of the best parts of this restaurant is the decor. It has a very old-timey feel, almost as if you're sitting in a restaurant in the 1950's. The staff was fantastic. The waitress checked on us multiple times throughout our meal to make sure everything was perfect. If you're looking for a great burger in a great atmosphere, definitely check this place out!

The BEST. There is no restaurant like this. It's not just a place to eat, it is a well executed experience start to finish. Whether it's the multi staffed approach to piece by piece service to wrapping up with picture worthy Baked Alaska, get a booth and stay for hours. You will never experience anything like Butcher and Singer.
